Great tapas bar in the Barceloneta neighborhood. We really enjoyed the seafood tapas the best. The gambas (grilled) were seasoned well and grilled perfectly (we ordered a couple of rounds of these). The prices are also very good and affordable. We had gambas at many places and they were quite a bit more in price. Also recommend the pulpo (octopus)... More

Everything that we tasted here was wonderful. This is the place to go to if you're seeking an authentic Tapas experience. Dishes were well seasoned and flavorful. Waitstaff was patient and helpful. Wish that they were located closer to our hotel.

Such a little hidden gem in Barcelona. They fitted us in when it was super busy, the food is authentic & tasty, The wine was lovely and such a great price! You can sit at the bar and eat or on the tables provided. It had a buzzing atmosphere & the staff were fantastic! I'd definately return!

I made my wife traipse across the Gothic quarter from the Gaudi Houses on Gloria for this at sunday midday. She wasn't clear why we passed so many other tapas bars. She was slightly grumpy before we arrived, but quickly settled. Only space at the bar, alongside a fairly relaxed elderly man who was only drinking - this is seriously... More

This place is filled with locals and has friendly wait staff that are kind about my poor Spanish efforts. Food is fresh and seasonal. Don't miss the "potatoes Jai Ca" and the plate of "little fried fishes"!

Great atmosphere, lovely staff, and full of locals. Food is excellent - and if you can't decide what to order , they'll bring you a selection. Very reasonable and superb wines.

Got recommended to this place and ordered about 6 tapas. A little more than what we needed but man, we put a hurting on that food. It looks like it was hard to wrong and make sure you try some of the sauces on the shelf. Seafood was fresh and even those items fries were ver light. Check it out

Very reasonably priced tapas - menu available in English. Razor clams and clams were the best we tried in Barcelona. Meat and cheese skewers were a let down but there were 3 types of croquetas which more than made up for it. Nice cold beer on tap and turbido a cheap local white wine. We loved the local vibe and... Staying in Barceloneta

Neighbourhood Profile
Originally a fisherman’s quarter, this quaint area can’t escape its small village feel: laundry hanging over the narrow streets, old ladies clamoring at each other from their balconies and elder gentlemen playing games on short wooden benches gossiping the day away, Barceloneta could double as a film set. Artists line the boardwalk displaying their magnificently detailed sand structures making this the most visited beach in the city (the shirtless men working out might help too). You’ll know by the delicious aroma that you're in the right place to try some of the best and most authentic seafood including paella, Spain’s national dish.
