If you decide to eat here, you have to go minimum 20 min before opening even if its raining! No english menu just spanish, but the waiters were helpful even they not speak english. The food was ok, but up on the comments I expacted much more.

Had seen the reviews on Tripadvisor and happened to walk by, on our way to dinner, just before they opened. The queue was not too big so we decided to join it. Definitely the right decision! We didn't get a seat but were able to stand at a table near the bar. Seated tables get waiter service and if you... More

Small crowded store with nice atmosphere. The house "cava"(sparkling wine) was really good. It was more economic to order a whole bottle comparing to order by glasses, if you want to enjoy it (10 euros vs 1.6 euros). The tapas were really good with traditions. English could order little things but the ultimate waitress I met totally solved my problem... More

Food was excellent, esp the macaroni and octupus. Wait was really long tho so try to come at 7 if possible. Staff are very friendly, atmosphere is traditional and very bustling.

What can I say after doing plenty of research about this establishment I arrived at 1840hrs, 20 minutes before opening. We were first, however from 1850hrs the crowds arrived waiting for the doors to open! At 1900hrs we all ran in, I went for one of the tables against the wall so I could people watch. I am shamed to... More

Tiny little restaurant which came recommended by friends who live in Barcelona. Get their house cava and let the waiter bring you Tapas. We had some delicious baby clams, Boquerones and steak amongst other plates along with the yummy bread with tomato. Throw your used napkins on the floor and feel like a local in this excellent spot. Our waiter... More

One of my best memories of Barcelona's tapas (and that's saying something) ... The old-fashioned decoration is full of charm, the ambiance is amazing and the food, omg, just stunning! All we ate was so delicious … It's true that, at first glance, it may seem anarchic, but indeed, it's a ballet, everything works perfectly. Highly recommended!

Pinchos, pinchos and vermouth! Stopped for a short break and stayed longer than I thought. Started with their vermouth and had hard time to select a few pinchos so I tried most of them. Drank some more vermouth and ordered another plate of their house special anchovies. Will visit them for sure the next time I am in Barcelona!

If you want to participate in a real Barcelonian tapas experience, this is the place. We arrived about 6:50, and by opening at 7:00 the line was quite long. We were one of the first in, so we were able to get a seat, but many others did not - but they didn't seem to mind. Because we were just... More

This restaurant seems a bit intimidating at first with everyone stood around tables in a tiny space, but that all adds to the experience and we soon saw that there was a very clear order to it! We got a table after about ten minutes and ordered all the vegetarian dishes they had, which were all delicious. Decent price and... More

El Born / La Ribera
The labyrinth that is El Born becomes most apparent the moment you turn down one of its side streets. But this is one of the few labyrinths you might actually enjoy losing your way in. After all, there are few places that live and breathe such exciting energy regardless of the time of day. This neighbourhood seamlessly transcends the old and new parts of the city, reflected in its vast array of restaurants ranging from fancy Michelin-star establishments to trendy fusion restaurants.
