This was a dinner event for our team whilst at a conference. We were given the private dining room at the end of the restaurant which made it very special. Food - Excellent Wine - Good Service - Outstanding Prices - Extremely reasonable Every one of our team impressed - Yes! Will definitely return to this restaurant

Found this restaurant on Trip advisor, it was definitely hard to find but it was worth it. When we finally found the restaurant we had to ask if they were even open (we tend to eat earlier than the locals) but once we started lots more people piled in. The sangria was the one thing i was looking forward to... More

We didn't eat here, just called in for a glass of wine but had great fun. Would recommend the relaxed atmosphere of this restaurant.

Luis and Julien run a great bar and laid back restaurant way off the beaten tourist tracks of Barcelona. With a fabulous wine list and the expert advice of the guys who run it you can have wonderful wine experiences as well as enjoying a great menu that is both spanish and a little bit french, stunning jamon and queso... I came here with my partner and had a lovely selection of tapas washed downed with a glass (or 2) of the recommended local cava. The service was impeccable and we were given just the right amount of advice on the menu without him being too pushy- if you know what I mean. It was a lovely relaxed atmosphere with... More

Food was best of the best. And Sangria (esp. white) was out of this world & a large pour. BUT, to say the restaurant was funky would be a vast understatement. It's down a dark alley in the old section (the area is cordoned off so tourists can walk the alleys, but your cabbie has a card that gives them... More

Wandering the narrow streets of Barri Gotic trying to weigh up which of the numerous tapas bars were not tourist traps and offered good quality food. We decided upon Tacón Rojo. Really friendly and welcoming staff, we ate quite early in the evening so it was still quite quiet. Really impressive quality food and wine. Very good service, lovely atmosphere... More

Really disappointed, after reading tripadvisor reviews. I live in Barcelona and I can say the food was from regular to bad. Very simple and not fresh tapas. Overcooked escalibada, unreconisable brandada. In all, a bad experience. A tourist trap...
