We popped in here mainly because they had a Russian sign and we live in Moscow so it caught our eye. Its a very small cafe off La Rambla on a nice side street, the ham off the bone is excellent and the spanish omelette was good. They have a few specials and if you're looking for a quick pit... This tiny place is worth a visit. You will be rewarded with some of the tastiest tapas ever. It is obviously a little bit on the "touristic" side, especially price wise, but this is part of the location (near La Rambla). Definitely worth a visit if you enjoy jamon iberica, tapas, and non-Subway type sandwiches.

This great little bar was right opposite our hotel on our weekend away to celebrate a fiends birthday. It was very friendly and not too expensive. The staff were great and the sliced ham off the bone mixed with excellent cheeses was just superb. we all thoroughly enjoyed our visits here and would recommend it.

The open concept of this tiny restaurant/take out meat and cheese/bar draws you in, with the five different types of cured ham (hooves still attached) in the entrance. Staff was very friendly and the wine was also delicious. We actually tried to come back once... More

Neighbourhood Profile
Barrio Gotico (Barri Gotic)
With its iconic, old-Europe streets and alleys, this picturesque neighbourhood is the very heart of Barcelona. It blends historic artifacts from its days under Roman dominion up through the Spanish Civil War with a vibrant modern-day culture of artisan shops and authentic culinary experiences. Avid explorers will be thrilled to discover quaint terraces and plazas brought to life by the many small bars and local musicians lasting late into the night. Fashionistas will be drawn to Portal de L’Angel, which is lined with well-known brand names and smaller boutique stands.
