I visited the restaurant twice with friends and, overall, I strongly recommend this place. The restaurant is very close to the Passeig de Gràcia (downtown Barcelona) and offers clients a very good proposal, including 1) a nice atmosphere, 2) excellent food at a more than fair price (in the case of a dinner, one can pay between 15 euro -... A great menu del dia for an unbeatable price. The weekday lunch deal is only €10.90 and includes bread, water or wine, a starter course, a main course, and a dessert. The quality of the food is fresh and has complex flavors. They also have a rotating menu del dia menu based on what is available or in season. At... More

As a couple we ordered different items. Both were delicous . She had Tuna and I had chicken stripes in curry and coconut milk sauce. Both were delicous. Even we spent only 4 night in Barcelona we decided to eat at La Rita twice and we really do not regret.

Very close to Paseig de Gracia, this is a nice looking place with delicious food and great service. First ordered some tapas, my favorite was small octopus in a spicy sauce. As a main dish I ordered the trufled risotto which was very good also. Would definetly be back when I visit again Barcelona.

We ended up eating here for 2 of the 4 evenings we were in the city. The food quality is excellent and the value is unbelievable. On both evenings we enjoyed starters, main courses, desserts and wine for under 50 Euros. Highly recommend - friendly staff, and smart setting. Make sure you book!

Nice atmosphere, conversation friendly and very pleasant helpful servers. Delicious food. Generous portions on the fixed price menu. Pasta dish was amazing and so was everything else we ate. Try it, you'll like it.

About 30 of us were here for a business event on a Sunday evening. We had the back part of the restaurant to ourselves. There was a splendid selection of tapas that just kept coming. Best was the calamares with squid ink sauce and baby octopus in a red wine and garlic sauce. Delicious Rioja as you would expect. Main... More

We ate here on a Saturday lunchtime, the fixed price menu wasn't available ( or if it was ,we weren't offered it ) We each had a main and dessert, the main courses were excellent but portions very small, husband ordered duck and got duck with maybe two small spoonfuls of mashed potato , nothing else, none of us had... This restaurant located with distance of 50 m from Paseo de Gracia, so not on tourist route. So, when we saw a line of locals, we understood that hadn't mistook. Very rich lunch menu, good design of dining rooms, good service and delicious meals. Highly recommended!

We visited this restaurant at the suggestion of our Airbnb host. The food was excellent and it was very reasonably priced. By 9pm they were turning away people. We were so impressed we went the next night as well.

Thank David H

Staying in Eixample

Neighbourhood Profile
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognisable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognised architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
