They have a good lunch menu of appetizer + main course + drink, the food is good, not great. What was great was the sound track: soft reggae and ska.

We picked La Perla based on the view through the window - it looked friendly. The proprietor was helpful, with excellent English- although he did fall down on the translation of 'quince'. We had a selection of tapas, all excellent: well presented and generously portioned. A nice cool Chimay rounded the meal off beautifully.

We found this place by chance and it really worth it! We spent a wonderful evening with the whole familly and I definitly recommend this half French/half Spanish restaurant. The owner, who is French, is really nice and provides perfect advices to enjoy the food. You have a large choice of both French and Spanish typical dishes and I would... More

Meh was the considered opinion of my 12 year old - the tapas selection left him underwhelmed as it did the rest of us, not bad - just expected more delicate flavours,;perhaps just us and we were tired after our journey, we picked it as it was just around the corner from our apartment but didn't return which I suppose... That's what the waiter told me when I asked for sangria, I think we was very rude with his answer, this is not a nice place and the food is average nothing special. I will not come back.

Came here for dinner with some friends, had a nice bottle of wine, a paella to share and a few tapas plates. The prices are okay, not great.. For example average quality tapas for €8-€10 per plate. However our Paella was delicious and our wine was great. Beautiful little terrace spot!

A great little tapas restaurant off the beaten track. Delightful little restaurant with outside tables and plenty of character inside. The food was delicious with large portions with a large choice of wines and dishes. The staff were very friendly and were really helpful. The only downfall was the night we went, there was only one staff member serving and... More

Although this place gets a lot of positive reviews, I have to disagree. We arrived quite early and there were only tho other people in the restaurant so it was not busy at all. We ordered two spanish omelettes and a a plate of spanish ham. It took about half an hour to get the omelettes and they were ok... More

Staying in Eixample

Neighbourhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognisable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognised architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
