Smoothie was half empty, for 4€20, very unimpressed. Didn't seem like a bad place for food although I didn't eat here. I feel like I was ripped off with the smoothie though.

RESTAURANT'S FAVOURITE REVIEW

As you walk in towards San Joan's square, this little charming coffee is located on a corner. The atmosphere, the products and the feel like home embraces you. It is usually busy and offers many possibilities and menus! It is one of my favourite places in Barcelona, totally worth it :) More

I and my wife have been to Barcelona twice but I think we've racked up about five visits to Artisa in that time. Whether it's coffee, gelato or churros, Artisa has never disappointed. Speaking of churros, I can definitely recommend the classic chocolate + churros combo, especially on a chilly evening in early spring. I will say that the staff... More

Amazing location, next to the main Rambla. You can have a seat inside or outside and have a really good and typical Chocolate con Churros.

I was recommended this cafe by Lowri of Runner Bean walking tours and I had the best cup of coffee of my holiday at Cafe Artisa. I wanted something bigger than a double espresso but not drowned out like the Americano we have in Britain. One of the delightful young women serving there recommended their Americano with an extra shot,... More

What a feast this place is! Total pleasure to stop by for those Out of this world ice-creams or to boost my senses with elite coffee surrounded by the glamour of Plaza Real And Ramblas junction, where Barcelona happens!

Delightful staff, great coffee, cosy decor. Small place I visited a few times, right next to my hostel in Las Rambla's.

Neighbourhood Profile
Barrio Gotico (Barri Gotic)
With its iconic, old-Europe streets and alleys, this picturesque neighbourhood is the very heart of Barcelona. It blends historic artifacts from its days under Roman dominion up through the Spanish Civil War with a vibrant modern-day culture of artisan shops and authentic culinary experiences. Avid explorers will be thrilled to discover quaint terraces and plazas brought to life by the many small bars and local musicians lasting late into the night. Fashionistas will be drawn to Portal de L’Angel, which is lined with well-known brand names and smaller boutique stands.
