Amazing restaurant. I visited this place with my French friend, who moved to Barcelona some time ago. Place is very particular: young, international and noicy. It looks like perfect place to spend the time with the friends. After some misunderstanding with receptionist, we fully enjoyed our evening by Pepita. If you want to try tipical tapas, don't miss this place!... More

There was a line most of the time we walked by this place, but we eventually decided to join it! While waiting in line, you have the option to wait 2 doors down at a cava bar that they also own. Friendly people, good service, delicious food. We ordered a variety of tapas - roasted little green peppers, sardines, foie... More

There's a reason there was a line out the door to La Pepita. We are so glad we waited for a table at this gem of a restaurant. The food was not only innovative and meticulously prepared, it was all delicious! The staff was friendly and attentive and the owner Sofia was charming. We loved the ambience and our son... More

Unique interior, friendly and helpful staff. Tapas menu, very good for diner! Beef carpaccio was really good, and everything else as well :) gets crowded soon.

Excellent place for tapas. Really small get here at opening or the line gets seriously long. They are picky about seating tables since there were 3 of us we had to do either at or be smooshed at a 2 top because they won't allow empty seats we were told. Great selection of wine and cocktails at resonable prices. We... More

We really enjoyed our meal and sampled some very fresh and tasty tapas. The potato bravas was excellent, as was the calamari, smoked aubergine fritters and the beef skewers on quinoa. We had read how busy it gets (and yes it does) so arrived at 7 and had a drink at the bar before being seated at 7.30 when they... More

We didn't book ahead so we weren't surprised when there wasn't a table immediately available but the head waitress said if we had a drink in their sister bar 2 doors down she would come and get us when one was available. Just 20 minutes later we were seated in the restaurant which was ideal. Buzzing atmosphere with quirky decor.... More

Excellent wine, excellent Tapas and a very friendly service. Attentive waiter who explained everything and had good suggestions. Favorite tapas included Croquettes, Octopus, Burrata Salad and more. Try the Chocolate Pepita with Black Olive Jam and Olive Oil, sounds weird but tasted delicious!

Description
New concept of tapas, reinventing our spanish beloved pepito sandwich, feminizing it and using new ingredients under this same concept. Taking care of the traditional receipts, product´s season and tapas eating way. La Pepita is a place to come for an early aperitif, some beers and bravas, late lunch or dinner, at the marble bar or in the cozy small saloon. It is a familiar restaurant, where the value for money and treat is something we take care about.

Staying in Gracia

Neighbourhood Profile
Gracia
Gracia literally stands out from the pack. It used to be an independent town until late into the 19th century. Though it’s just a short commute away from the centre, a visit here feels like you’re in a whole different city. The bohemian vibe has drawn many international artists to this area, resulting in a wide selection of galleries, live music and artsy boutique stores. The nightlife is centered around the vibrant Gracia’s plaças, where young and old gather to enjoy a drink outside. Carrer de Verdi, its main street, offers affordable restaurants and a movie theatre that screens new as well as classic films in their original language. However Gracia's greatest treasure lies just up the hill at Guell Park, where Antoni Gaudi's vibrant and revolutionary art sculptures stand atop unequaled views of Barcelona.
