Had our first lunch tapas meal while arriving in Barcelona on our way to Picasso museum, and were pleasantly surprised with the delicious tapas dishes they offer, the well cooked tapas, and friendly and very helpful service people. We suggest for a visit, if you...More

A wonderful bar, a block from the Picasso museum, it was a great way to spend our last night in Barcelona. Friendly, busy, happy, and obviously a favorite of locals, we had several very good tapas. We enjoyed beers with green salad, ham and chicken...More

We ate here a week ago and thoroughly enjoyed the food, wine and ambiance. Was initially a little disappointed with the reception - had booked a table which wasn't ready and told to stand outside by a rather flustered waiter. However, we only had to...More

We were lucky, a table was free for 4. Very nice people, very kind to my kids. Tapas was very good quality and enough choice out of typical spanisch dishes. We absolutly will come back again!

Delightful tapas are available at this popular spot but do be prepared for some very brusque service by waiters who seem fairly self obsessed - shame because it's an otherwise joyous experience.

Small and packed tapas bar in El Born, seems popular with locals and tourists alike. We were doing the El Born Detour and this was a stop. Had an incredible foie gras and crispy oxtail dish - creative and delicious.

The Iberian pork is to die for. Marinated and slow cooked for 12 hours, then roasted over charcoal. Amazing. Definitely go there. Need to book a few days in advance.

Very vibrant restaurant. Excellent tapas. Suckling pig tacos best choice we had, although the zucchini flowers were quite good as well. Friendly service.

On our trip to Barcelona we visited this quaint bar in the Gothic Quarter three times, it was that good! We can highly recommend the oxtail with foie gras and the zucchini flowers. Some of our most memorable meals were here.

Tour guide took us here for lunch. Beautiful little place we would never have spotted, frequented by locals. We all ate well. Would highly recommend the croquetas. Great waiter who took the time to explain everything and even had food prepared that wasn't on the...More

El Born / La Ribera
The labyrinth that is El Born becomes most apparent
the moment you turn down one of its side streets. But
this is one of the few labyrinths you might actually
enjoy losing your way in. After all, there are few
places that live and breathe such exciting energy
regardless of the time of day. This neighbourhood
seamlessly transcends the old and new parts of the
city, reflected in its vast array of restaurants

I'd recommend it especially if you want a table or decent bar seats. We turned up without but we're very early so managed to find 2 unreserved bar stools.
