very busy little tapas restaurant, staff friendly, enjoy the food, it's as good as any. I also had the salty choc dessert, nice, but not sure why it had quite a bit of oil in it.

We had lunch here and the consensus was that it was our best dining experience in Spain to date, having been to dozens of places. Every dish impressed and the fideua is simply to die for. Very reasonably priced for the quality of food. Don't miss it.

Fantastic restaurant located on a narrow street. Great tapas, decent portions. We had ribs (amazing...), patatas bravas, beef chimichurri, burger and parmesan salad and also managed to squeeze in the salty chocolate dessert. In total a great experience! Make sure to book a table...

The food was oily and service was semi friendly. They do not serve cocktails either. There are better places around.

Busy place, our hotel concierge booked us in and we would never have got in otherwise. Plenty of people waiting outside in the street for tables – in November! Bustling, busy tapas bar. Food very, very good. Service fast and friendly. Lovely draught beer. We liked it very much and would definitely recommend. The squid stuffed with vegetables was outstanding.... More

Tapeo is located in a very hip and happening area, so reserve in advance to avoid 30 minute wait. The food is excellent all around (we had beef sliders, crocquets, vegies sauteed with mushrooms, sardines), but above all is black fideuá with cuttlefish.

Good tapas and good service but really nothing outstanding, we ate much better tapas all over Andalusia!

Been here with some a party of 15 people. Excellent selection of traditional Spanish tapaz accompanied with a nice red 'Mas le Plana' If you are in Barcelona is worth a try well done!!

Staying in El Born / La Ribera

Neighbourhood Profile
El Born / La Ribera
The labyrinth that is El Born becomes most apparent the moment you turn down one of its side streets. But this is one of the few labyrinths you might actually enjoy losing your way in. After all, there are few places that live and breathe such exciting energy regardless of the time of day. This neighbourhood seamlessly transcends the old and new parts of the city, reflected in its vast array of restaurants ranging from fancy Michelin-star establishments to trendy fusion restaurants. Here you'll find historical and cultural attractions such as the popular Picasso Museum and the Gothic cathedral La Santa Maria del Mar, where you just might be able to catch a traditional Catalan wedding.
