Booked to visit Bravo24 while visiting Barcelona as a special treat for my sister. Spectacular surroundings, service was very good and our food was beautiful. We opted for cava with our meal and it was lovely, one rose one normal. Thoroughly enjoyed the cod balls and artichokes and our Creme Catalan was lovely too. We made our way up to... More

Food ok, service ok, nothing special. Certainly overpriced for the quality. Menu confusing but the waiting staff did explain well when asked. Would not return.

The restaurant is a state of the art of popular Catalan cuisine. They propose traditional Catalan dishes served and prepared delicately. Quality of ingredients is there. Grilled artichokes are perfect, as well as the ham or the canelonnis. Nice and rich wine selection. And good and kind professional service. I'll go back there

Located on the mezzanine of the W hotel in Barcelona, Bravo 24 has a resolutely contemporary feel, in which wood takes pride of place, plus an attractive summer terrace. Traditionally inspired cuisine enhanced by contemporary touches, plus an impressive array of raciones

Wanted to eat... failing that, a few drinks would have been nice. At 3.20pm, I was first ignored by the welcome lady, then flatly told "We're closed", then refused even drinks (in a restaurant that was 30% full). Go figure ? This hotel has some awful clothes shopping, a pretentious groundfloor cafe playing rave music and a few outdoor 'something... More

I could not give this place enough stars. Service was nothing short of amazing, best we've ever received. Food was incredibly unbelievable! We ordered the steak tar tar (sp?) and their vegetable rice dish for our entrees and felt like we were in a dream! For our tapas we ordered the mussels, which was probably the highlight of our entire... More

I returned to this restaurant for Christmas dinner this year, as a part of staying at W Hotel. The service is top, and the food really good. A bit pricy, but worth it. They are good at both seafood and meat. The wine selection is really good, and atmosphere super. You won´t regret a visit here

Went to celebrate our anniversary. More than disappointed by the whole experience. From the poor Christmas table decoration that must have been brought from the 1euro store to the food and service. For the price and reputation, we were expecting a lot more. The starters came and were awful, incorrectly cooked and badly presented. The mains, not much better with... More

Staying in Barceloneta

Neighbourhood Profile
Originally a fisherman’s quarter, this quaint area can’t escape its small village feel: laundry hanging over the narrow streets, old ladies clamoring at each other from their balconies and elder gentlemen playing games on short wooden benches gossiping the day away, Barceloneta could double as a film set. Artists line the boardwalk displaying their magnificently detailed sand structures making this the most visited beach in the city (the shirtless men working out might help too). You’ll know by the delicious aroma that you're in the right place to try some of the best and most authentic seafood including paella, Spain’s national dish.
