I have little to add to the previous comments. Don't expect the usual Japanese makis, sushis, etc. This is serious Japanese food, very serious. It's not cheap but if you are looking for quality this is the place. The place is very quiet and peaceful, and the service, impeccable, friendly and professional at the same time. The temperature of the... More

I am an overworked mother of two young children, so you can guess that my husband and I don't go out very often. We first went to Wagokoro more than 5 years ago, and I keep going back every time I want to have a truly special moment. This is not your average hip Japanese restaurant, with funky maki and... As described by other reviewers, the cooking is authentic. All aspects of a genuine Kansai kaiseki meal are respected: order of dishes, variety of ingredients and techniques, attention to colour scheme of vessels and plates. And for a reasonable price level, considering how labour intensive this cooking style is. Based on my experiences in Japan, I would rate all this... More

Here you will find a big spaces, although the restaurant is not to big. There are few tables, and really spread. There is a big care for details. The restaurant is quiet and calm. It's a pleasure to have dinner there. Here you will not find makis, sushi, and all the stuff you find in other low price Japanese Restaurants.... More

15 years living in Barcelona and still struggling to find restaurants worth going back to, but this is definitely one of them. Ticks all of the boxes for quality of food, presentation, service, value for money, decor, noise level / intimacy. Excellent Japanese food.

Came here with my girlfriend on Valentine's Day as we both love Japanese food and we're looking for something authentic after visiting Japan in the summer. We were certainly not disappointed. Food was absolutely delicious. Fresh, homemade, traditional and lots of variety. Could have easily been in a ryokan in the heart of Japan. Look forward to coming back again.

The restaurant is small and very nicely decorated. It is recommended that you book your dinner as it can be very full. It is run by a couple. He is a Japanese and she is Catalan. It is very pleasant to eat there. It is the place that I go every time aim in Barcelona. Highly recommended!

It is located between Molina square and Gracia district. the facilities are informal, but typically japanese. For me the degustation menu is very good, you can taste a lot of japanese dishes and you can choose almost a different type of sake with every dish. The best dishes: the sashimi of three fishes and veal meat. The rice with eel... More
