My boyfriend and I only tried the drinks while we visited here. The sangria is off its head though. By far the best sangria I had while I was in Spain. It had lots of wine and fresh fruit. Amazing.

Just back from a day out in Barcelona and at the end of our time there we decided to get something to eat down by the beach in Port Olimpic. My wife was really keen to eat with a view of the beach so we looked at the restaurants along there and settled on Club Natacio Catalunya because it seemed... More

So wish I read reviews before eating here. Just had a week in Paris and Barcelona and had great meals everywhere except here. Pizza was tasteless and no sauce. Sangria was watery and weak. Shrimp was terrible I actually spit it out. A couple of the waiters were actually fighting inside and another staff member was breaking it up. We... More

Tasty food and a lively atmosphere. Portions are on the small side and a bit on the pricey side. You are paying for the view. This is one of about a half dozen spots all in a row along a board walk. As with most spots in Barcelona, the service is poor compared to most American restaurants. That is, we... More

The restaurant was pretty desert, the nearest ones were not. They started to put away chairs and tables when people were still eating. The paella was not the best of my life.

We dropped into this restaurant as we were walking along the promenade at Barcelona waterfront watching the sunbathers enjoy the first rays and warmth of spring. We ordered some snacks while our paella was being prepared. When it arrived it looked nice, tasted fine and cost a little bit too much. Honestly the rice was quite good but the seafood... More

You pay for the location, not for the food. It's a medium restaurant with a great view. Just good for 1 time.

I'm actually writing this as I sit in this restaurant. My fiancé and I both ordered the paella, her with seafood and mine with meat. The food was completely TASTELESS. So tasteless in fact that salt and pepper didn't help it at all. I can't believe they charge so much for food with ZERO flavor. The meats had no flavor,... More

Just walked into this place off the beach. Good food, service, etc. Had the seafood paella. Did some people watching while the breeze from the ocean kept us cool. Good bathroom too.

Staying in Barceloneta

Neighbourhood Profile
Barceloneta
Originally a fisherman’s quarter, this quaint area can’t escape its small village feel: laundry hanging over the narrow streets, old ladies clamoring at each other from their balconies and elder gentlemen playing games on short wooden benches gossiping the day away, Barceloneta could double as a film set. Artists line the boardwalk displaying their magnificently detailed sand structures making this the most visited beach in the city (the shirtless men working out might help too). You’ll know by the delicious aroma that you're in the right place to try some of the best and most authentic seafood including paella, Spain’s national dish.
