Tucked away in a quiet alley, this breakfast spot is a must-visit. The Churros and Chocolate are great, not overly sweet and a generous portion. Try the Hot Sandwich too (and dip it in the chocolate).

Walking not far away from La Ramble, I found the best churrería in town: Granja La Pallaresa. Although the churros are not as good as those I tasted in Malaga at the Casa ARANDA, they were the best I found in Barcelona, Catalunya! Crowded most of the time, I went three times right after the opening so that I could... More

You know the churros are great when all the locals come here for their fix! It is on a tiny street hard to find, but it is worth the search. Not far off La Rambla.

The chocolate and churros was good, not as sweet as Madrids chocolate and churros, but I am giving two stars due to service. My family of 5 (2 elderly parents and two young children) were seated quickly and that was it. The servers took the orders of other locals and served them, and gave change to people leaving before they... More

This place is classic, established in 1947, and frequented by locals who arrive with their children or their moms, aunts, or grandmothers for the best thick hot chocolate, freshly whipped and frothy cream (crema Catalana) and warm fresh churros in Barcelona. There is always a line but service is fast and so it is worth the wait! No photo does... More

I got the churros and Spanish chocolate sauce, the churros was great but I wasn't a big fan of the Spanish chocolate sauce it tasted to much of water, so maybe a different sauce would have been better. The price for mine was 4.6€ and I got 4 churros.

When you start approaching this little hidden gem, you already smell chocolate from the street. The must in this cafe is to get a hot chocolate that is so thick, it feels like you are drinking melted chocolate. It goes perfect with churros that is not too sweet. It makes a perfect afternoon snack.

This little gem was recommended to us by a local. It does not disappoint. The food is delicious and the service quick and efficient. A must try.

Must visit if you are in for local food. There is always a line of people waiting and the place is full. You will need to be patient a bit and you will be rewarded with the nice chocolate and local bread, churro, etc.
