Fresh ingredients, friendly staff, local dishes. Avoid 14:00 and 21:00 arrival times as they don't take reservations and wait can be long. Can't surpass the value for money in eixample, kitchen is always open so a good place to come off-peak hours.

Family friendly, affordable, and delicious!! We had the waitstaff choose our tapas for us and every item was amazing! We even ordered extra bread to soak up the delicious sauces! The sangria was also tasty according to my husband. And after eating all over Barcelona the previous 4 days, very affordable.

I am amazed that there could be any bad reviews about this place. There has been only one downside-- a bit of waiting. But no more than 20mins, on a Friday night, for 2 people, at 20:00. I think that's only fair. The staff was beyond friendly, they were really nice company and knew when to jump in to recommend... More

As in most Spanish restaurants they know nothing about beer, but they're truly Shut Up when it comes to tapas! A tad in the pricey side, but you truly get your moneys worth! With the location a few blocks from Plaza Catalunya, it could easily be more expensive too; but the pricing is decent both related to quality and location.... More

I'm amazed this place has good reviews! The food is incredibly bland and some dishes are so oily they're inedible. The croquetas were the worst of all and clearly were out of a packet. You can get so much better food than this. Also, we were out on the list for a table and they never called us so we... More

This is a fabulous restaurant for food and you need to go early if you don't want to wait for a table. Our hotel recommended this as it was nearby (three blocks) and we were not disappointed. We had a selection of delicious tapas and a large jug of sangria, followed by coffee. Total €55 for two, good value for... More

We went here because it was very close to our apartment and were so happy! Tapas were excellent as was the wine. Service a bit spotty as they are busy. Worth it tho. Several tapas and 2 wine and 2 beer only $33 euro

What a nice and lively place for lunch in Barcelona. It's always crowded with locals so go to the bar until they get you a nice table and ask for a couple of glasses of wine from the Penedes region. The waiting is worthwhile. We ordered a plate with a variety of mushrooms which was simply delicious and shrimps in... More

Staying in Eixample

Neighbourhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognisable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognised architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
