I went to eat there and the service and food was not good enough. The staff is not kind and the food is not fresh. They used to make many sandwiches (bocadillos) and keep them during many hours, so when you buy them are not fresh.

Went in for a snack on arrival to Barcelona about 11pm. Ordered pizza for 2, water and sangria. They served the sangria in a pint mug and charged €15. €33 in total!!! The next night went for a lovely meal in nearby square complete with wine €35. Avoid this place.

One normal pizza slice for 7 Euro ! There was a lady who bought a bottle of water, when she received the change she found that he sell it for 2.5€ which coat only 1€ in nearby shops, she asked at the moment him to return it back but he refused, Never Go There.

Took two cans of coke zero, and they just pretended they should bring us them along with the sandwiches. Then they came with a dispenser coke that tasted like water. I took it back they said you cant have can coke when seated, also I had the wrong sandwich, so i returned it. I detected the scam and said I... More

This place seems to be getting a lot of very negative reviews regarding the prices, but having just had a week in Paris, we thought it quite reasonable. I can't remember what we paid for 2 beers, a baguette and a pizza, but it obviously wasn't worth complaining about. What I did find annoying was that I simply asked for... More

I was scammed once in Florence and thought it would never happen again but I let my guard down and boom. We stopped here to get something to drink before our scheduled time to visit Sagrada( beware there is more than one of these rip off places). We ordered two beers, two diet cokes and three pastries and our bill... More

We had coffee at a table in the middle of La Rambla - one of the many restaurants and cafes that have their main area actually in a shop at the side of the road. We knew we just wanted coffee so didn't bother with a menu, not that one was offered anyway. When we came to pay we were... More

We were charged $16 each for our Sangria. (A small, bitter mix too) We were charged in US $ and no protest of the price- very different from the one inside of the place

They have a list of wines and one is sangria. All of them are by bottle so we bought the sangria and then they charged us 15 euros per Glass which is triple the going price and is their price per bottle. They called the police when we protested.what a scam and a rip off.

Went here for lunch twice, served lovely hot baguette, toasted cheese and ham sandwich. All made with locally sourced fresh meats. The coffee was excellent too. Good cheap meal served by friendly staff.

Staying in La Rambla

Neighbourhood Profile
La Rambla
Barcelona's most famous street was once a dry riverbed. Now, La Rambla is a 1200-metre boulevard, and a major draw for visitors. During the day, La Rambla fills with pedestrians, some of which stroll past impressive human statues and artists while others take a break to people-watch while enjoying a drink at one of the many terraces. Housed here is the iconic Boqueria Market that offers one of the most varied and appetising selections of local produce and specialty meats and treats. While it’s important for tourists to keep an eye on their belongings at all times, this area is most safely explored in the daytime and is a must see for everyone who visits.
