This place is half way along the promenade right on the beach. Views are excellent as is the tapas. Beer and wine are reasonably priced given its location. You do get charged an extra 10% for sitting outside.

This is a fantastic place to eat right on the beach in Barcelona. Food was 5 star, srvice was fantastic, amazing views and vast wine list. We had a roantic dinner right on the patio. You can see and hear the waves crushing on the beach. This is a 5 star dining experiance for an affordable price. Dinner for 2... More

Next to a sandy beach. Nice walks nearby. Gas lamps keep you warm. Food slightly disappointing. Ceviche not really spicy but mostly sweet. Grilled fish on its own.

The paella was okay, but not proper paella, and it was extremely overpriced but due to the view I expected it to be. The staff was rude and made us feel like a chore and they charge an extra 10% on your bill for eating on the terrace - says in small writing on the menu. So it's just a... More

Waiters and waitresses are so rude, no smile and make you feel so uncomfortable !!! I had the mush room soup, which wasn't fresh and the couscous and fish ,warm taboulé in a tiny portion, anyway end up paying 64euro. What a rip off. My girlfriend had the salmon,4 little peaces for 20 euros....unbelievable....if waiters were nice that would have been... More

This restaurant is on the beach so , as you can imagine , the people watching is great .The food - not bad for this kind of restaurant . It is clean and comfortable . You can choose to sit inside or out however there is an upcharge to sit outside .We feel the prices were reasonable for Barcelona .

Kitchen is quite good but management is poor. When bill arrives we found very bad surprises. We paid 45 € for 2 portions of rice with a little bit of seafood (no paella BUT "riso con le cozze"). I asked for some explanations and they told me:"we're not a restaurant with kids menu....". We paid also 1.30€ for 2 slices... More

Ended up in this restaurant as others were closed due to it being a Sunday night, turned out to be a fantastic place to eat. We had a seafood paella followed by chocolate mousse, both were fantastic and I would recommend to anyone heading to Barcelona. Staff were friendly (even though they thought me and my girlfriend would want to... More

The value of the place resides on its beach location with a terrace. Note a 10% upcharge for the terrace. Food is average good. 50 euros per person (without dessert, with Sangria)

We shared the Ca La Nuri paella which is a seafood paella. It was excellent, washed down with a lovely rose wine. Excellent menu good choice of wines. The restaurant is adjacent to the beach so you can eat your meal and watch the waves roll in. Friendly and attentive staff.

Description
It is always a pleasure to eat next to the sea, doesn't matter the season. Rice, seafood and seasonal fresh products are the three main axis of our menu. We cook traditional recipes of Mediterranean cuisine, prepared with top quality ingredients, mostly local and organic. If we add the views and a good range of wines from all Catalan denominations of origin, we are in a unique setting to enjoy with family and friends. In addition to our menu, we have special menus for groups and special celebrations. We can also prepare custom menus, ask for our contact person.

Staying in Barceloneta

Neighbourhood Profile
Barceloneta
Originally a fisherman’s quarter, this quaint area can’t escape its small village feel: laundry hanging over the narrow streets, old ladies clamoring at each other from their balconies and elder gentlemen playing games on short wooden benches gossiping the day away, Barceloneta could double as a film set. Artists line the boardwalk displaying their magnificently detailed sand structures making this the most visited beach in the city (the shirtless men working out might help too). You’ll know by the delicious aroma that you're in the right place to try some of the best and most authentic seafood including paella, Spain’s national dish.
