Excellent food. Impeccable service. We ate breakfast here and marvelled at the quality and range of the food.

Usually when you visit Stared restaurants you expect good food but this one is really awesome! Absolutely perfect. Meat Tartar selection is a masterpiece. Oysters selection either. A superb culinary experience that I would like to recommend to those looking for something extraordinary!

We had really looked forward to ABaC during our 3-day visit in Barcelona. As regular visitors to high end restaurants around the world, Barcelona is one of our favorite places to go to. However, we were disappointed with ABaC, as it didn't live up to expectations although the food was mostly very good. The interior is rather stiff, it's nothing... More

We were staying at the hotel and decided to eat there on my birthday. It's very expensive (we went for the full taster menu) but worth it. Dishes were exquisite, presented beautifully and just as Michelin star restaurants should, each course was unveiled at the same time for both of us. Unusual menu with a little bit of theatre surrounding... More

We booked AbaC several months before we came to Barcelona based upon its reputation as a once in a lifetime dining expereince. We arrived 30 minutes prior to our reservation and spent half an hour on the patio having drinks. Very nice. Service excellent. When it came time to eat, we where whisked past the dining room into am offshoot... More

One of the best meals I have ever had.. I thought from start to Finnish this was just perfect.. I had the tasting menu..the starters, with foam, coconut spray, were an excellent start to an incredible experience.. Then the dishes, which were all, top notch.. Creative, great use of different foods, so tasty.. I have never eaten pasta like the... More

Amazing food that is show also. Entertaining service,a 3 hour meal that is exceptional. Need reservations needed 3-4.months in advance. Very pricey ,but you have to admit worth it. Worth every dollar, a meal that surpasses any that has gone before. Probably worth the trip to Barcelona alone. I have eaten in other 4-5 star restaurants and they should strive... More

We took the large tasting menu and we were not disappointed. Both food and service were outstanding and there is nothing we would complain about. Do not be surprised by the bill but restaurants of this category do not come at a bargain price.

Boring interior, terrible service from obviously lowly paid and under skilled immigrants, many dishes were far too salty and almost un-edible, uninspiring ambience. What saved the evening as we were getting annoyed by the service, was the Argentinian senior staff who took over our table, at our request, and who actually had a clue about the 12 course tasting menu... In 2000 ABaC Restaurant opened its doors in his first location, Carrer del Rec 79 in Barcelona. In May 2008 changed to his new address in Avenida Tibidabo, 1.

The gastronomy is the fundamental axis of the project. The restaurant awarded with 2** Michelin, and nominated by The Best Restaurant 2011 in Catalonia by the Catalan Academy of Gastronomy, can seat up to 56 diners. Located in the newly constructed pavilion in direct contact with the garden, the interior and the exterior are found through large windows.
It is a caprice of whites, in all tones. In a calm, neutral and elegant atmosphere, the sense of sophistication is shaped by the small details and the materials used, as well as a sophisticated combination of lights.
The kitchen of 200 m2 has been designed by Joaquim Casademont. It is a black container, in which stainless steel furniture takes all leadership, an effect that has been reinforced by the lighting, a route marked by leds serves as a guide and allows the guests to cross it.
Rooms for private events with a capacity of 20 to 60 diners respectively, complete its restoration facilities. The "Lounge Bar", which opens until 2.00 p.m. and where the music, light and color of the room subtly change; There is also an extensive cellar, offering near 1000 references, and from which you can select your perfect wine.
Chef Jordi Cruz and his team of young professionals develop a creative cusine of superb technique, based on the product and which meets both creativity and tradition. In addition, our attentive yet friendly service create a professional but relaxed atmosphere, which makes ABaC holder of 2** Michelin.
