The staff was ok, they found us a table in aprox 10 min but the local was really crowded. Very good tapas, Sangria not so good but overall the experience was ok, nice local.

I've recommended this place to loads of people over the years - every one of them loved it. Be prepared for a bit of a queue, but it's worth it and you can always have a beer or glass of wine while waiting. Lots of...More

We had to change our seat three times either because the air condition above us was leaking or due to the restaurant want to accommodate a larger group. When I explained to the femal staff in black dress that it was out third move she...More

We were a group of 12 and sampled various dishes. All were tasty. Service was a bit slow but friendly.

We loved just about everything we tried here. There is a display case at the bar so you can look around and see the food before ordering. Some items (like razor clams, you have to eat razor clams) were available in the case but not...More

Had we started our Barcelona gastronomy experience here, I would have probably been more pleased. But we had our last meal here after someone told us to try it at another very good restaurant. Being our last meal, it was quite ordinary compared to some...More

This place was around the corner from our hotel, it was always full of people. We went in for lunch one day.....we went back another 2 times, it was great. Lots of variety, tasty and good service.

The four of us waited 2 hours - they kept saying 15 more minutes. we could see that no one had food, just empty plates, or people with menus -either the waiters are incompetent or the kitchen is hopelessly stalled. This is a really noisy...More

This restaurant was good but I don't understand why there is such a long wait for it! It seems like everyone wants to go there but the tapas weren't my favorite. It's a nice restaurant don't get me wrong but not worth the hour wait....More

This is our second visit here in two days. Both fantastic experiences. We had the octopus, shrimp skewer, chorizo, shrimp in garlic sauce and cuddle fish. All washed down with a pitcher of sangria of course. Seems that the places where we ordered Sangria from,...More

Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you
enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally
translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes
recognisable by its more spacious streets and elegant
atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district,
Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end
international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the
glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best

Tapas (pintxos) are most definitely available at your table or at the bar. This restaurant is mostly tapas, but sometimes offers paella late at night (after 8:30 pm when we were there).

They have an extensive menu with many items I would consider gluten free, I.e. Serrano ham, tropical fruit salads etc.
