The food and wine was very well priced. The food was fresh and beautifully cooked. The beef and prawns had to be our two favourite dishes! Really lovely atmosphere and we were looked after brilliantly by our waiter. Will definitely go back when next in Barcelona!

We had a great time and the food was great. Our server was funny and helpful, a great combination! The tapas were great and they offered a huge variety.

this is one of those places where they just churn out the food.. given the location, i guess that's what to expect (tourist trough food). i was really disappointed we burned a meal here vs walking somewhere with a more local vibe. poor service, below average food. there is so much good food in Barca, don't waste you time/money.

Amazing variety of tapas! Very nice staff and entourage. Food is beautiful and delicious, we even had desserts and were extremely surprised of how good they were in a tapas place. You have to sign up, they give you the hour to come(usually you have to wait around 50 mins), but it's totally worth the wait.

We thoroughly enjoyed the tapas - although pricey it was worth it when compared to other restaurants in the area where the standard of the food was mediocre at best. The server spoke English and could recommend dishes that we would not have chosen. Fresh ingredients combined in interesting ways. It was crowded, noisy and frenetic but that just added... More

Ciudad Condal has probably the best tapas in Barcelona. Superb quality, friendly service at fair prices. The place is located at city center at Rambla de Catalunya and it is one of the places to go in Barcelona. This time, as the group was bigger, we've tried all the tapas available, and what has been impressive is all opinions were... More

The food was nice but not more. We waited for almost 35min for table but there was no order. Finally when we got the table we asked the recommended courses - honestly, there are much more good tapas restaurants around..

Best tapas restaurant in Barcelona! In the centre, at the very middle on the Rambla de Catalunya. Enjoy good food and nice atmosphere at a very reasonable price. The only inconvenient is the fact that you have to wait for a while... packed restaurant, lots of people!

I was recommended this restaurant by a friend and I was not disappointed. I had been warned that we may need to wait, which we did have to on a Monday afternoon but it was only for a few minutes in sunshine. The service good, friendly and professional. The food was fantastic, we really enjoyed the tapas, I especially liked... More

Staying in Eixample

Neighbourhood Profile
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognisable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognised architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
