Traditional arabic cuisine in a beautiful traditional style. Very helpful staff. Food was beautifully cooked and very tasty. Also exceptionally reasonable - €36 for a three course meal with drinks for both of us!

I didn't expect much and was surprised with a nice decor, nice people, and excellent food. The Fallafel was very good. I will return there.

Good food, good prices, clean restaurant, lovely seating areas. Food names that made me giggle, but so tasty. Owner was lovely, so friendly and welcoming. recommended some dishes to us. She even did a dance for us as she poured us moroccan tea!

We chose to visit this place as it was only around the corner from the hotel and we love Moroccan food. The decor is nice with a fountain in the middle and some other nice Middle Eastern touches. We ordered two starters - the aubergine dip and brekets - both of which were delicious, and served with flatbreads. We then... More

I went there with a local person from Barcelona. And most of the people there were locals. Surprisingly, most of the tourist were across the street. Beautiful and Vibrant Tapas/Bar. They had outdoor seating but we decided to sit inside because of the humidity outside. There were mosquitos inside though. Food was great, tapas were awesome: had the big nachos,... More

We booked it because of the good reviews: well, they might have changed staff in the meantime, we had a really bad experience. The service was appallingly slow: there was just one lady serving tables, apparently she was the manager. She was quite rude to few of us, for example to those who dared asking information about the food. She... More

Was a great decision, after reading the other comments we decided to go in there and we ate really good for less than 15? pm with entrance, main plate and desert. Truly a place to go back

I was in Barcelona on an overnight stay in January with my husband and 2 friends to see Michael Buble in concert. We wanted to get something to eat beforehand and we stumbled upon this restaurant around the corner from our hotel (The Parallel) and i am so glad we did! It is a moroccan style restaurant and the decor... More

if you happen to be in this area and you had enough with the tapas/pizza/sandwich bars, I recommend this place. Me and my wife had launch - soup, fatush ,cuscus ,tajin, desserts, all were very good. and price was 20 euro pr the two of us.

Staying in Montjuic

Neighbourhood Profile
Beyond the four columns standing guard at the Plaça Espanya, beyond even the extravagant and colourful fountains guiding your way up the boulevard, stands the impressive and towering structure of the Palau Nacional, the national museum. At this very spot in front of the cascades of the central fountain, Freddie Mercury and Montserrat Caballe gave the performance of their lifetimes to welcome the 1992 Olympic Games to this magnificent city. And true to its anticipation, the games transformed the city, reimagining the mountain of Montjuic with the development of an arena, stadium, and many other sporting facilities that are open to visitors year-round. Surrounding the adjacent side of the plaza are well-established hotels catering to business guests and a shopping mall transformed out of a historic bullfighting arena.
