This restaurant is a real treat. They serve fresh local foods beautifully (combination of Culinary styles - French, Spanish) in a quiet, well appointed restaurant with impeccable service. Bread was freshly baked, wine was very good, and our meals were interesting and varied. It's an easy walk from the center of town.

Fine cuisine, delicious (home-grown) local Spanish products and classics with a special (Belgian) touch.

My husband and I revisited this lovely restaurant after 10 years - not through lack of trying ;-) We were not disappointed. The restaurant is quite small and intimate and not pretentious. Quiet and efficient service from the chef's charming wife and staff. The wine list is extensive and some gems like a delicious cava which served as a good... More

To find a restaurant on Sunday night is very difficult in Spain. The claim of a marriage of Belgisch and spanish cuisine sounded promising. The interior is rather average and so is the food. Both my wife And I could not find the spanish touch in the courses. We had chosen.my salad was boring and the main courses were not surprising and mediocre.

A real surprise for us, we saw the place in the afternoon and it looked good, so we went along in the evening. Very friendly, personal service by the owners was excellent, but the food was wonderful. We both had gazpacho with G&T sorbet - fantastic. Followed by monkfish and steak, both very well presented, and washed down with a... More

nice place and excelent food. I like this restaurant very much, and go certainly back. The serve, and also the menu is in different languages: Spanish, Flemisch, French, English and German. A pleasant point if you don't know very well the langauge of the country. Don't forget to eat a home made ice cream or chocolat cake for dessert, delicious.... More

If you are having a problem with the Spanish restaurants in town or you just need a change, I recommend this place. Very good Belgium and French cuisine. The dinning room is a bit small but very romantic, so I would a make a reservation during the summer time. The restaurant reminds me of the little bistros in Paris. The... More

We read all the good reviews and we were disappointed. The ambiente is beautiful. It is a small restaurant, beautiful decorated. You get the feeling as if you are in your dining room at home. Unfortunately, the meal was only mediocre, without any culinary delights. The service was unfriendly and unpleasant. I assume the lady who served us was the... More

I often use this restaurant for my small groups - we want haute cuisine, good wine and a great atmosphere and that's what we get here. But last Thursday I took a small group of 7 of us and we had the best meal of our tour. I can recommend the ostrich steak and the watercress salad.

Let the terraces in and around the Plaza Mayor just behind and enjoy a delicious meal in this small and cozy restaurant. Professional and friendly service of Micheline and culinary delights of her husband Manuel. All this for an excellent price-quality. The best culinary experience of my seven-day trip through Spain. Definitely recommended!
