We had the fish soup and garlic soup. Both were outstanding. Had a local wine with lunch at a very reasonable price. Dessert -- Leche Frita was a milk custard that was light and sweet. The price was Outstanding. The service was some of the best we've had in Spain--we sat at the bar. The tapas were hot, plentiful and... More

We were in Burgos and dropped in to this restaurant for lunch without a reservation. We had such a great time. Not speaking more than the basic 10 words of Spanish, we wondered how we would go. It could not have been any better. Our waiter was such a wonderful person. He helped us with the menu, worked through the... More

This was one of the busiest tapas joints in Burgos! Full of Spanish speaking people and everyone enjoying the food. We particularly liked the morcilla and the champignons. The waiters are friendly and serving with pace and precision.

We had a meal, but most people were enjoying tapas... Started with some fantastic red peppers stuffed with a boletus sauce, followed by some delicious veal in an excellent red wine sauce and also accompanied with wild boletus mushrooms....my favourite. Great Brandy to finish off with and an excellent waitress. It goes to show what can be achieved. One waiter... More

We ate here twice during our tourist stay in Burgos. I had the steak both times and it was excellent. My dinner date also loved her food. We ate on the left side of the restaurant where there are tables for sit down dining. But most customers seem to just drop by for stand-up tapas on the other side. Its... More

Basically, this is the best tapas restaurant in the World. Busy in the evening, but the atmosphere is great. The tapas are all freshly made, you can see into the kitchen and watch. The boss gives out free tapas now and again just to keep things going. There are other tapas bars on the street, they are also good, but... More

We went to this bar three times, because it was a sympathique bar where the staffs were very kind to us and it served typique tapas in Burgos. So, this bar became one of our wonderful memories in Burgos.

Found this down a narrow pedestrianised street just off the town square. Very clean with excellent tapas displayed at the bar. Tried a few and all were of the highest quality. Ideally you would want to be in a group to taste some of the plates as they were quite large. Excellent service and good beer. Very very clean including... More

Went there for dinner on our last night in Burgos with some friends. The food was delicious. Our friends had the roast lamb and they couldn't get enough. I wasn't very hungry so I had the sopa Castillana and some tapas. All good was delicious. Our server was delightful. He told us that he was a client and loved the... More
