The place delivers great smells all over the street where it is located. It is said with big letters on the advertising stand - beer for 1.50 Euro. However, when we ordered beer, it was found out, that this is only for takeaway bottled beer (that costs 0,60 in the store across the street). To have beer inside we were... More

I joined my husband for a drink and food but was ignored by all the many staff who appeared disinterested and unprofessional. We ordered a starter of squid and Paella for main course. The waiters looked like they walked off the street and didn't know what they were doing. After 30 mins the squid arrived and then the chef came... More

El Timon Great location overlooking the sea. Quirky little bar/restaurant that do quite good tapas for lunch. Service (as mentioned by others) is a bit slow, but you’re on holiday so just chill and think like the Spanish.

Waiters sit around with their phones ignoring customers. They, like many restaurants offer a good vaule "menu del dia". First time we went to have it they didn't give us the potatoes. Second time we went we were told there were no desserts left. The price advertises the deal as a 3 course meal.

An absolutely beautiful place to sit and have a drink, but the food and service was awful. Avoid !!!

Called here for lunch and managed to get one of the tables at the front by the sea where the waves were lapping right up to the restaurant. You really can't beat eating somewhere with a view like this. We ordered the Canarian potatoes (3 euro) which come with the requisite mojo sauces, which were nice although could have been... More

We go every night of our stay. A lovely view back over the bay and super staff. The tapas is excellent and the drinks are unbelievably reasonably priced!

Busy, but found a table ourselves upstairs...the front row of tables, which offer the best views over the sea were all occupied...ok let's sit further back in what can only be described as a bare, whitewashed shed extension. I've eaten great meals in many a ramshackle joint over the years.......not here. My seafood tapas came first, followed by a plate... More

A great place to watch the pounding surf with a plate of calamari and a couple of pints. Try the upstairs balcony...the waves crash into the restaurant wall and erupt in spray all the way up there! Amazing! Sat and enjoyed for a couple of hours. Special thanks to Julian for his humour and great service. Cheers!

Cannot remember my first visit because I'm always thinking about the next. Amazing spot, surf board sunbathing below, kite surfing in the distance and a welcome breeze. Order the mojitos, the cylindrical fish, pil pil prawns, canarian potatoes and calamari for the perfect lunch. Be careful on the steps down, you will have had one too many Mojitos if you've... More
