Totally disorganised staff, food was tasteless (which is shocking considering the quality of ingredients), it was expensive and we waited ages for it. Staff studiously ignored us when we asked for anything and took so long to come for our money we seriously considered just...More

We visited the restaurant as part of the Thomson excursion to Timanfaya! The whole trip was excellent. Our children loved it. The demonstrations were fascinating and learning about the history of the park was interesting. The views on the stop offs were incredible. The food...More

As a vegetarian, I'm used to establishments not always providing the same quality food to those who do not meat. I usually expect a risotto or a feta dish, however the food at el diablo is certainly in need of divine intervention. The starter was...More

How many BBQ's have you been to where the food is cooked over the heat from a volcano? Really spectacular. The views are beautiful too. Definitely worth a visit if your are in Timanfaya National Park (which is most definitely worth a trip).

You can feel the heat under your feet. A critically acclaimed architect designed this establishment apparently, it needed to be built to withstand the super heat of the volcano which sits underneath it...hence the name 'Devil Restaurant'. Menu is a bit boring though.

They don't take reservations at all. I rang well in advance of my visit. Plenty of seating, but they close for service at 4 I think, so make sure to be there before.
