My friend and I came here for a drink and snack. We found the prices were slightly on the higher side but was satisfied with the calamari and artichokes that we have ordered. Compared with the other restaurants along the promenard I would say this restaurant feels less touristy. It has got a separate bar.

We ate here three times in a week in the evening, a good selection of local food - well cooked and presented. Value for money good; service reasonably prompt and helpful. A good place for an evening meal that will not break the bank

Made the mistake of eating here on our last night in Las Palmas. The food was bland and tasteless - I had chicken in garlic and parsley which was barely warm and not at all tender, my wife had fish which was also very ordinary and came with Canarian potatoes which were almost cold. We both left most of our... More

Visited here twice as liked it so much the first time and sat outside as it was rather chilly outside. Can recommend good old spanish favourites like croquettas or gambas al a jilio to start and flan con nata to finish. In between can recommend the veal slices - healthy portion of 4/5 slices makes it also good value! Wine... More

Nice restaurant with nice staff. The interior room is very comfortable and the food is really nice. Some starters are really fantastic

Very affordable breakfast with a really good view of Playa de las Canteras from the northern end. Good cappuccino and decent sandwiches.

If you're feeling jaded with the same old menu up and down this popular promenade then Olivo offers something a little different in the way of tapas. Try fried aubergine with honey and salt. Friendly staff and the cafe is positioned in a more sheltered curve of the bay if it's a windy day.

Went here for Sunday lunch when the whole resort was buzzing. Starters very good but main course was only just warm and not very inspiring. Service a bit slow as they were so busy, but staff very friendly.

We went to have some small portions of food and ordered potatoes with red and green sauce, fried cheese, fried artichokes and one portion of octopus - we were quickly served, sat outside overlooking the Canteras beach and enjoyed a bottle of Canarian white wine. Perfect to finish the day after a day of lecturing work at the university. Pleasant... More
