It's a family restaurant which is cool but the service is ok. Overall the restaurant is average, both food and prices. Got charged for the bread which we didn't order or eat. The toilets was very nasty as well. Overall it was a disappointing experience especially since the were many people dining there so we thought it was good. A... More

The first time we ate here we were welcomed and not pressured. We were given time to view the menu and was offered advise to individual dishes. Both our meals were cooked to perfection (steak and pork). The wine was local red, excellent. Sweets were limited but had fresh fruit. We returned twice more that week and not disappointed at... Ok after reading the previous reviews, first things first, this is La Gomera. It is not Marbella, Paris or Rome! Secondly, anyone who knows anything about Canarians knows that most don't go to waitering or charm school! They are salt of the earth folk who believe that you are there to enjoy their cuisine, not to be bedazzled by a... More

Very kind lady services & mamma in the kitchen makes simple but superfresh food. We had watercress soup *** and medregal fish. The bill brought a smile on my face!

Had lunch. Fish of the day ( dorado ) with Canarian potatoes, a bottle of their own dry white wine, coffees. Total bill for two was 35 euros, including a huge brandy for me. Food was really good, fish very fresh. Nice service by several family members.

We arrived here in search of some lunchtime tapas, and ended up full of good, plain food because the portions were so generous. We had goat, cheese, salad and paella and they were all good, particularly the goat. My husband regretted that he didn't have room for a piece of homemade cake for dessert as it looked very tasty. We... More

Ate here once again. The service is ambivalent. The menu restricted. The food excellent. A good authentic family restaurant.

We each had sardines and salad. It arrived quickly without much of a smile and the fish were fresh if a little overdone but great value for money.

One evening, it was pouring down, and the street was slightly flooded. We entered - we were the only customers - and did enjoy some really good food: for my daughter, an unforgettable "medregal à la plancha" - chosen raw among a selection of fish, and recommended by Judith - with "papas arugadas" and fresh vegetables; for me, "potaje de... We we're here in january with our 2 boys while exploring San Sebastian. As we always do we order 5/6 different tapas and fill up the table. The Goat was the best i have ever tasted, great paella and all other local specialities. Love the fact that it is like an extension of the family living room and that all... More
