Went here today for Sunday lunch ,our first choice restaurant Cafe Balear was closed for holidays and we were glad it was as S'amarador was really good. Very nice interior with a lot of T&G cream woodwork and tasteful artwork. Very nautical feel. We all had the €21.00 Euro set lunch which was very good value. Tasty caldera of seafood... More

We tried a few places on the harbour, nothing spectacular, I liked the restaurants in town better. But the food was good, it was nice to eat by the harbour and take in atmosphere, the only grumble I had with every restaurant we ate at on the harbour, all the food was lukewarm for some reason. But plenty to choose... More

Really good customer service and amazing fresh sea food. We had gambas from menorca and they were really tasty. As a main corse we had arros caldoso de pescado and marcisco which it was really good and massive portion, enough to fill 3-4 people. We will back.

I'm sure the oh so trendy brigade will love paying through the nose for food that at best is average and ditto the staff; at mid range prices I'd have been unimpressed at these prices they are taking the you know what Get at least as good at several establishments just yards away at half the price

Great service, great food, great setting. This is a must! Went for lunch, had the set menu which was slightly higher than other places but the view and the quality make it all worth while. I had mushroom risotto, baked cod and then pineapple soup and it was all excellent.

Nice food. good steak in fish restaurant! Lovely monkfish and clam stew. Waiters efficient if not overly friendly. Arms of the chairs don't fit under the table (sitting outside) so uncomfortable. We wouldn't return because of this.

It is always a good sign to see people queue to get into a restaurant. It's highly rated on TA and our visit bears it out. The Hake and Seabream dishes were excellent. Along with filo pastry parcel with spinach that accompanied it. The service was attentive although slow to start. A truly enjoyable experience.

A busy, but welcoming resturant at the nub of the port. With seating in the sun or in the cool covered areas indoors - it is worth getting here about 30 minutes before you would like to eat to reserve a table as it gets busy at lunch times. Fresh local fish, local cheese and I recommend the monkfish. Brilliant.

Thank Tim J

S'Amarador has already become the restaurant par excellence in the Port of Ciutadella. Located at the center of the port, next to the bridge, it has a fantastic terrace with the best views over the harbour as the sunsets. The spirit of the traditional fisherman's restaurant has been maintained, serving the best Menorca fresh fish. Its specialties include seafood rice dishes, shellfish and lobster stews, grilled or roasted local fish and a huge variety of fresh products:prawns, crayfish, clams, mussels, anchovies, squid, etc. Its cellar holds over 150 different wines. The venue stands out for its impaccable interior design, different dinnig rooms, an interior garden which features a huge fig tree and spectacular terrace on the first floor. There is also a private dining room available.
