This bar has been around since 1956 and really know what they are doing when it comes to the food scene. If you are short on time, but have a minute just to stop by and grab a quick pintxo or two, then you won't be disappointed. Eating a dish from here will make you feel that time no longer... More

We booked in advance as this restaurant is very popular. We started with the octopus which was amazing. Then the T-bone steak and Grouper both which were both really lovely and well presented. Desert was something special Citrus carrot cake with vanilla ice cream and pumpkin cream. It was delicious. Lovely charming service. Would definitely return. Make sure you book... More

The bar downstairs was buzzy and the Pintxos (Basque speciality tapas) and drinks were well priced. The restaurant is upstairs and is somewhat lacking in atmosphere - still, as they say, you can't eat the decor but the place has been well reviewed so expectations were high. The service was friendly and helpful, sadly, when it came down to it,... More

One of the best pintxos bars that we went to over 3 days of crawling. We tried all the cold ones on the counter and many of the hot ones. Cold highlights were the mackerel and the shrimp with hard boiled egg. For the hot ones, the foil gras was out of this world, but also loved the mushroom tart,... More

Nice place with amazing food. We ordered mostly fish and the hake was exeptional. The place is a bit alternative as you enter downstairs where there is a bar with pintxos etc and the restaurant upstairs. Not many tables and this is an advantage but the service was very attentive and the wine selection very interesting. Worth going for an... More

We sampled many pintxos bars in the town but thought this place had the best food - some were more traditional dishes, plus creative combinations. Very friendly service too. Would recommend!

We went into the bar, as it was high on the TripAdvisor app. We asked if they did steak and was told 'not tonight' - the staff saw our unhappy faces and asked if we were happy to wait 20 minutes and they would 'source some'. We settled down with some pintxos and a glass of wine. True to their... More

We ate Hake and Sea Bass dishes washed down with a very reasonably priced wine from the restaurant's wine list. We will definitely return on any subsequent visit.

As things are slow on Monday, this was one of the top range spots for pintxos. It surely did not disappoint and we enjoyed many dishes here. Some better than others, but overall good. The only negative aspect was that the iberico ham was a bit dry, but the rest was great.

This was our very first pinxos bar in San Sebastián and it set a high standard - we ended up coming back again. The bread they serve their pinxos on is deliciously crispy, and I would recommend trying anything with prawn and egg on it. Also ordered a venison burger from the menu which was amazing. The staff were very... More
