The food has been just incredible, spot on cocking times, great quality ingredients. service has been friendly even though I always had to remind them about my drinks. Really good portions of food too.

We had tried to wing it by arriving at a couple of other recommended restaurants but were turned away as they were fully booked. Fortunately for us, Bodegon Alejandro was also on the list and had availability - just had a cancellation as we walked...More

One of our favorites on our holiday to San Sebastian. Food was tasty and fresh and high quality. We shared the fish for 2 and the french toast dessert, both which were supremely tasty. Restaurant is a downstairs basement like space and at first I...More

We chose this restaurant for our dinner in our one night stay in San Sebastian. It was a good choice. The degustation menu was very very good, and also fleixible for the ones among us who asked for slight changes. The service friendly and efficient....More

Fantastic, innovative Basque cuisine in a wonderfully friendly atmosphere. Service was impeccable (once they understood we were three people for 13:00h, and not 13 people for 3PM. My spanish was at fault). We had two different variations of Hake. The one with the citrus sauce...More

We came to eat lunch at Borda Berri to find it was closed inexplicably on a Sunday. As it happens this restaurant is only a few metres away and as it looked inviting we enquired about a table. I was informed that the restaurant was...More

Had the full course menu for lunch. Awesome, with creative dishes for a good price. Casual atmosphere with excellent service and attention to detail. Would go here every trip.

Had the tasting menu for lunch here recently and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Certainly more upscale than your average Pinxto bar, but still a warm and inviting place with friendly and unpretentious service. The small dining room is down a short flight of stairs with...More

I have no idea if they have gluten free options but there is no particular dress code. Restaurants in San Sebastián tend to be mainly informal (no jeans with holes, though).
Where can I park if I have a rental car ? What would be the cost ?

This depends on where you are staying. We stayed opposite the beach overlooking La Perla. We did not need a car and really Donnista - San Sebastian is not that big that you need a car to travel around. We walked everywhere... More
