This was recommended by the lady at the apartment we rented.Short five minute walk away and I was glad we went there on our first day there. We tried out a few other places but in the four days we spent in Seville we ate there thrice. Brilliant food ,well presented.Reasonable prices. The best pork ribs I had ever.Very friendly staff.Even... More

This came recommended by Seville Tapas Tours (the original) with the warning...it gets busy! Lucky being a single traveller I squeezed myself into the bar for an early tapas lunch going straight for the honey ribs. Divine...heavenly...awarded my tapas of the trip. I also found room for the pork in dill but being honest, having tapas food envy with every... More

What an incredible find. Tucked away. Always busy. Wonderful atmosphere. Real. Authentic. Not contrived. Roadside tables. Amazing service.

Just got back and I still feel like I'm on a high. Two words, culinary orgasm !!! We have been in Seville for two weeks now and before that we were in Cadiz for three weeks. Eslava is by far the best value for money tapas restaurant I've ever been to. We went a bit overboard but still managed to... More

The tapas side was packed. We had booked the restaurant side with just 7 tables. It was the only way to get in...literally, they lock the front door since so many want to walk in and try to get seated. Dinner was divine. Service was impeccable. The owner was present and gracious. The starters were inventive and delicious. Our entrees... More

Eslava is probably the first place people living in Seville would recommend for a classical Andalucian Tapas experience. They serve many classics such as buey and different sea food varieties. They also have "innovative" tapas for some of which they win the "tapa of the year" award. Only drawback is that you either need to arrive early (araounf 20:30) or... More

Eslava should be top of your list when choosing where to go for your lunch or dinner in Seville. We ate there twice, a late light lunch and an early dinner, and both meals were delicious and seriously good value for the price. Bread/mini grissini-type things, green olives and some kind of legume are provided on the house. Our first... More

There is so much to see in Seville that it is best to prioritise; I booked the restaurant, everything else was pure Andalucian flexibility. As we arrived at the early sitting (9 p.m.); it was obvious that the tapas option is extremely popular; it was the largest collection of tapas diners that we saw. However after the previous 48 hours... More

We arrived around 8:10pm and all the seats had just been filled- with promise that we were the next ones to get a table when it opens, we stood by the bar. One of the servers came to take our drink orders- we had sangria and white wine. He brought olives and lupini beans that we happily munched on. I... More
