The hotel owner recommended this restaurant as it is not too far from the hotel. The food was excellent and the service very efficient. We love the Bacalao al estilo de la Viuda (home specialty) and the pan seared duck liver! Tapas portions were quite genereous and prices are very reasonable. We enjoyed very much the meal, so ..we come... More

A lovely atmosphere, helpful staff, tasty, reasonably priced tapas and wine. Busy but didn't have to wait too long for a free table. We'll be back.

This is a attractive bar on a corner. The puntillitas (fried baby squid) and gambas al ajillo (garlic shrimp) were delicious and most notable for the very large portions – if we weren’t determined to eat our way through Andalusia, just one of these could been enough for a meal for two.

This tapas bar was near our apartment and we sat outside as a family. The menu was huge and in several languages but we were slightly overwhelmed. The tables were too small for food for 4 so it was all a bit chaotic. Quick service as they were v busy and tables changed quickly, great wine and delicious tapas. A... More

During our recent stay in Sevilla we ate here twice. On both occasions we ate inside and ordered at the bar as suggested by sign on the wall. In under a minute our first tapas dishes were ready in spite of the fact it was really busy. The quality was excellent and staff were efficient and helpful. It's very popular... More

This is so authentical and so good at a really competitive price. We had two tapas and 1x plate. One oxtail tapa and one "menudo" tapa and one plate with grilled baby octopus. Simple, honest, relatively cheap and above all extremely tasteful. With 2 beers, one rosada and a small bottle of sparkling water: 20 euros.

Dos de Mayo is always busy, always buzzy and a great place for a drink and a tapa. It's not somewhere I would come to eat a full meal. The tapas is traditional and mainly deep fried, it's comfort food rather than anything refined. Perfect with a beer or a glass of wine but pretty stodgy and unremarkable. So take... More

One of the most famous tapas bars in Seville which serves good food and wine at reasonable prices. We called a few times but only managed to get a table outside on two occasions as it was very busy with both locals and tourists. Nice square and helpful staff. It closes for siesta about 4pm.

Recommended by a local! Was fantastic! The red wine was also brilliant. Would visit again! Make sure you don't get confused as there is another restaurant just next door.
