We visited Carmen Mirador de Aixa for my husband's birthday - which was the reason we were in Granada. We were able to book on line before we left the UK which was great - and the restaurant replied their confirmation so I knew our reservation was set. I had asked for a good table as it was a special... More

We didn't eat but nor would we after our experience. Staff that didn't give a sxxx and expensive beer and terrible wine. So bad we had to send it back. The views are amazing so certainly worth going for a beer.

The view is wonderful. Food was just excellent... everything. Not inexpensive, but worth the splurge while in Granada. We were literally among only six patrons late on a weekday evening, so the service was exceptional. Of the "Carmens", this is probably the best.

We happened upon this restaurant by accident on the walk up to the view point and decided to come and eat on the way back down. It was really quiet until about 10pm. Spectacular view of the Alhambra. We had great service from all the staff and enjoyed the food - particularly the amuse bouche, soups and desserts. Excellent bottle... More

We have had the pleasure of dining at this wonderful restaurant twice in the past month. The first was on a Tuesday. The reason was because we had booked it for a celebration meal for twenty on the following Saturday. Obviously we wanted to see what the food and service would be like and we could not have been more... More

Great little place with a SUPERB view of The Alhambra. Clearly geared up more as a romantic place. Went with my wife and majority of tables were for couples. Ideal place to spend quality time, have a good conversation and maybe pop "the question" Food was good, nothing incredibly fancy, but a good relation with the price. Was let down... More

Asked for, and got, a table with a drop-dead view of the Alhambra. The food was well above average, and service was passable. The taxi ride there resembled an adventure at a theme park, except that is was real. We started late, and enjoyed watching the silhouette of the palace at twilight, and the beautiful night lighting of those ancient... More

A great view of the Alhambra does not automatically translate into a great dining experience. We were in a group of around 20 and found it difficult to get a drink/order throughout the duration of our stay. After the bread arrived we asked for butter/olive oil and were still waiting for it to arrive 10 minutes later. One of our... More

July 2013 visiting Granada. Second time in this restaurant and an unforgettable experience again. For food and service - and the view to Alhambra in the moonlight. The restaurant was full, the service runned smoothly and very friendly. The starter portions are very large, which the waitress kindly advised to share, thanks to her. The taste and the quality of...
