The evening started alright and objectively the food was good . However the arrogance and total customer service by owner ? ( German man ) . We went on a Friday evening & at 11pm he asked us if he could bring the bill . We had shortly before it asked for a another bottle of wine which was served... More

We were introduced to this restaurant a couple of years ago by a friend that lives in Marbella. This pleasant establishment occupies a corner plot in a central location near the main fountain, with a raised outside seating area. The €9 menu del dia has a selection of dishes to choose from and the portions are generous. The good service... More

Just returned from most recent visit to Marbella. Dined at El Capitan on Thursday night, fixed price menu 15 Euros, excellent 3 course meal, and again on Saturday lunchtime. Fixed price menu 9 Euros. Again very good, will definitely go again on my next trip. Staff very helpful and polite. Recommend!

Excellent value meal; tasty, hot, fresh and plentiful. The home made soup could not be faulted. Glass of good quality Rioja to accompany meal. Attentive and personable staff. Would definitely return and recommend .

Went to this reataurant as every testaurabt i like in marbella was closed. Only 4 covers on sat lunch. Had the chicken escalope with chips. The chips are from a packet and not fresh. The chicken escalope was very average. The presentation of the restaurant is good. That's where it ends. I would not go back.

This restaurant is situated close to the entrance of the EL Fuerte Hotel and a short walk from the promenade. You can have a meal inside or outside. We returned to Marbella and were pleased to see that the EL Capitan restaurant was still open. Lunch at 9 Euros for 3 courses is unbelievable value and generous glasses of wine cost... More

We have eaten here several times and never been disappointed. I have travelled all over the world & you will not get better food than this for the price. Nice atmosphere, good service and enough food for anyone. Hoghly recommended
