Excellent dinner - it is open for lunch and dinner - with several dishes from Castillo as well as Andalusia. Miguel helped us put together a great mixture of tapas and media racion. Excellent value too.

A fantastic dinner. Excellent products cooked in a remarkable way - quite unique actually, as both traditional and different from whatever we see anywhere else. And a very personal and dedicated service. Very enjoyable wine at prices that just seem wrong. Almost tempted to go back to Malaga just to enjoy another dinner like this.

Totally worth going with señor Miguel's recommendations, the tuna and the gambas covered with peppers and spinach and cream sauce were exquisite.

This is a small, family run restaurant with the owner much in evidence ensuring your experience is the best. Only a dozen tables, mainly filled by locals who know how good it is. Little English spoken by the staff. But the food is excellent. It was near our hotel so very convenient - but well worth alonger trip. Only open... More

This is an outstanding restaurant providing a variety of well sourced food, cooked with with skill and love. I speak little Spanish, so was delighted that there was an English menu. The welcome from Miguel and his staff is warm and you can select from a daily dish as well as A la Carte. We had three lunches there so... More

Having eaten here a year ago, we had high standards that were again met by Sr Miguel and his team last week. Delicious, unpretentious dishes that reflect his home cuisine, in an equally unpretentious setting. The roasted Castilla y Leon IGP milk-fed lamb is easily one of the finest dishes of meat we have enjoyed, and we have enjoyed plenty... More

I would not have found this restaurant without Tripadvisor. It is quite small and in a side street. I had booked for lunch on my first day and ended up eating lunch on three consecutive days and I was only in Malaga for three days. First main course was Cod, really fresh and perfectly cooked. The second was marinated Partridge,... More

Many visitors to Malaga will gravitate to restaurants near to the Shopping Street (Calle Larios), some of which can be tourist traps, or the Port and will maybe miss Restaurante Miguel, which is located ina quiet side street behind the cruise port and near the bullring. To venture a little further afield is well worthwhile because Restaurante Miguel is so... More
