We were excited to find El Vegetariano de la Alcazabilla in Málaga, longing for a proper veggie food, and their stylish exterior on the edge of city peatonal zone looked very promising. However, the most food they have on offer are pre-prepaired meals such as hamburgers, empanadas, croquettes etc. You will barely find there anything fresh apart from the salads,... More

Fab interior, delicious food, lovely staff. Definitely go for vegetarian paella. The only barrier is the language. Staff understands only spanish. But you can make your way to identify the best food for you as the menu is in english as well. A must must must visit if you are in malaga.

This is a sweet little restaurant in a lovely location near to the Teatro Romano. Picture perfect terrace with lights strung about. We had not been here for four years and the place had not changed at all, in a good way! The healthy menu of vegetarian croquettes, empanaditas and salads were all unchanged which means as good as ever.... More

Had been with friends to this place for lunch...had amazing vegetarian food options...Spanish is the only language the staff knows...which is tricky...atleast the menu should have the dish ingredient so it's easy to order...menu needs to be in detail...overall nice place...could have been better if someone knew English...

Every time that I visit Málaga I go to lunch or dinner to El Vegetariano de la Alcazabilla. It is a good place if you are a vegeterian or a vegan person. The food is very good and you have a lot of options to choise what you like. The attention is very good as well. I can tell that... More

The food at the El vegetariano del Alcazabilla is good and along the lines of what you can easily find in Andalucía. Most stuff is fried (especially the vegan options!), and the vegetarian dishes are chock-full of cheese (and probably fried)... my suggestion is to avoid el plato combinado, which is certainly too much for one person. Just pick one... More

We went for dinner and the food was good. The waiter was kind and professional but a bit uninterested. We wanted to male a reservation and the owners were a bit brisk but not in a nasty way'. It was ok but we will not go back.
