On holiday with my Dad, recommended by the hotel. Menu is in 3 languages with lovely explanations of traditional foods and how they are prepared. Live music as well from 2 girls playing cello and violin.

This was recommended to us, but we were very disappointed. It lacks atmosphere and the menu did not impress us. More important the selected dishes were ok, but no more than that. The interior is poor with ugly paintings and outdated furniture/decoration. Staff was friendly,...More

Great service, lovely ambience, but really poor food. Super expensive for what you get, it’s tasteless. Just because it’s on Michelin guide, doesn’t mean it’s great, should be taken off the guide, it’s deceiving.

My husband picked this quaint little restaurant for dinner. The décor is very rustic, and they have a nice little open air patio in the middle. We were seated right away, but only because we showed up shortly after opening. I tried the salmorejo, which...More

Not as good as the reviews suggest. The food was below average. Our waiter recommended the salmon and the cod. Neither was especially flavorful. Otherwise, the service was friendly and professional. Try to get a table on the ground floor.

Cold welcome. Announcing that we haven’t booked the waiter in chief just said « two minutes ! ». No « please » or other kind word. Wines are good. We took a Flamequin which seems to be a typical dish. Arrived not that hot with fat fries. When willing to...More

This restaurant is located at the Puerta de Almodóvar in the Jewish Quarter of Cordoba. Our server Natalie was wonderful, recommending the best plates for sharing. Her suggestion for dessert, the Pastel Cordoves, was delicious. The bar is adorable and they have a rooftop restaurant...More

We had a great lunch at Casa Rubio. The food was very flavorful and moderately priced. We sat outside on the patio. Our group had the arroz, squid and a meat dish named tortilla, although nothing like other tortillas. The dishes were seasoned and cooked...More

Thank you very much for your review, we are glad to hear that you had a great experience in our restaurant. Nevertheless, we don't serve any kind of tortilla.

We have just returned from Cordoba, it’s a fantastic city to explore. Selecting places to eat in the evening can be difficult and so we used comments left by previous TripAdvisor users to select the restaurants, which had to be close to our hotel. The...More

SELECTED BY GUIA MICHELIN 2017. Restaurant and tavern located since 1920 next to the Almodovar Gate, one of the medieval wall entrance. You can enjoy typical Andalusian as well as local food. Specialty in fried food. Amazing rooftop terrace next to the ancient wall.
