In this fine bodega, just a few minutes walk from the Mesquita, we had a delicious dinner. Very nice ratatouille, a special garlic salsa for starters, super fine pork filet. Try the Ribera Duero tinto, a bit pricy, but worth it. For deserts I preferred the mille-feuille over the orange sorbet, missing some of the tasty Spanish orange flavour in... More

We went on Rick Steves and TripAdvisor's recommendations (I don't trust any guidebooks without checking TripAdvisor, but he did say this was his favorite restaurant in Cordoba). First impression was underwhelming. We weren't noticed for a few minutes, and nothing we saw seemed extraordinary. After about a 15-20 minute wait, we were taken to a table that had just opened... I am very sorry to submit this report. This restaurant is promoted generally but specifically highly in Lonely Planet, which is normally reliable. The place itself is nice enough, the barman helpful on arrival. I wonder if it is either lazy or just has gone downhill - basically because of the lack of qualiity of the main courses. We had... We had the fried eggplant with molasses, ham Iberico with pecorino, oxtail meatballs and cod 3 ways and all were delicious! Topped it off with the orange ice with olive oil. Fabulous! Great red wine and fresh bread, too! They do have a menu in English if you ask. Ambiance is friendly. We got there at 7:30 for drinks. Stayed... More

The ambiance is what makes this place, more than anything else. Wine casks line the hallways, and the entire restaurant feels more like a ranch in the countryside than a restaurant in the middle of a town. The ensaladilla was quite nice, though the potatoes were still a bit lumpy (not everyone's preference but I enjoyed) A great salad The... More

To all of us it was a great experience to really be able to enjoy very good Andalusian food. We were a group of six and we had 4 different main courses (fish, rabo de toro and arroz con mariscos) and berenjenas con miel de caña and a mixed salad as starters to share. We also shared a couple of... More

I reviewed Bodegas Campos a couple of years ago and was somewhat underwhelmed and they only got an average rating. Well, my wife and I decided to give it another go during our last trip to Cordoba this summer and it was much better. We popped in for a casual drink and I'm very pleased that they serve delicious Perez... More

Food was good, portions are big, and the price a little bit higher than what it should be. It is a good place to try the typical dishes if you never tried before!

We tried Bodegas Campos for lunch on our first day in Cordoba. The waitress spoke no English but worked with us in our broken Spanish! The fried eggplant with molasses was excellent.
