Dresden is pretty quiet on Sunday morning as we stopped to see the Luther statue as part of our Luther Land tour. We were so pleased to make a rest stop. Enjoyed the decor --even on the rest room doors--and the hot chocolates too!

Didn't even get to sit down in this place. Staff were so rude, ignored us and were most unwelcoming. Too many choices of places to eat in Dresden to be treated so. Walked out in disgust. Awful place.

We had a good meal here, it was in a prime location with outdoor seating (we didn't use that however since it was winter and cold). The food was good, also some various beer selections kept me interested. Good desert as well. They also had an English menu for us to make it easier to order.

Omelet with bacon. Lot of bacon. About 9 inches long by 4 inches wide and 1/2 thick. Flavor was just OK but my wife liked And fresh squeezed orange juice - about 8 oz of juice and taste fresh. Good bread. But cold butter. My wife got the edelweiss- fruhstuck. Which is a full list of continental breakfast plus an... More

Great place. Its well visited, so if you want to be sure to have a seat you might to make reservation. Staff is friendly ... the place inside really looks like one of those places in the Swiss Alps. Good drinks, tasty food ... a good recipe for a great evening

We ate an early dinner here and so enjoyed the decor and the comfort food. I ordered meatloaf with onion and mushroom gravy and it melted in my mouth. My daughter ordered a more traditional dish equally delicious. Perfect place for individuals or families with many seating options. Apparently it is quite popular as many of the tables had RESERVED... More

Swiss themed restaurant with good food. Decor is classic Swiss alpine and staff dressed in traditional Swiss attire. Menu is varied, offering traditional Swiss dishes and beverages. Excellent pastries and desert offerings. Located on the marketplace in the center of the old city and very near the Frauenkirche. A definite must see venue and enjoy the food. Service can be... We came upon this place at lunchtime yesterday during a short stopover in this beautiful city. We enjoyed a pretty good lunch, served quickly, But the attitude of two of the waitresses was so rude. Both the woman behind bar and the dark short-haired older woman were abrupt and bordering on contemptuous. It was so bizarre as to be funny,... More

We enjoyed a wonderful, casual dinner here during the Holiday Season so might have been swayed by all the Christmas lights inside and out, but the atmosphere was amazing - like being in a Swiss ski lodge with waiters in Lederhosen bustling around with fondue pots and festive warm drinks like Glugwein. Fondue is out of this world, but they... More

We only had desserts & hot chocolates but found the dishes were beautifully presented & tasted amazing. Staff were super helpful finding us a table upstairs on what was a very busy Christmas Eve.
