The one cook is an highly trained sushi expert of a japanese guild and the other one is serving homemade style like you won't find around the next 200 km. a lot of japanese people (a well augur for it I guess) always very crowded- I suggest to get a reservation

This quaint family-run restaurant is the place to be if you crave for Japanese cuisine. Once you taste the miso soup, you know you are in the right place. We have tried different set -lunch menus and they are all good. Sushi is always fresh. Also nice, friendly staff.

Niko Niko Tei has been on of our "yes, we must" places for a few years now. The fantastic japanese cuisine has never once disappointed us! Now that the new location (just two doors up and in the backyard) has opened, we´ve already been twice and it made our day complete :) My personal favorite is the Tsukemono - pickled... More

The restaurant is in a new location in a backyard with even a small outside terrace. When I tasted the miso soup, I knew right away that this was real japanese food. Very friendly service. We love this place and we will be back.

We love going here for any occasion and have never been disappointed :) It´s a small place right off the fountain of fools that serves excellent japanese dishes. Our favorite: Lunch! The lunch menues have a miso soup, tsukemono, salad, rice and the main dish you chose (if you´ve never eaten japanese food try the karaage - japanese chicken nuggets... More

I found this ace while walking around which is off the center. However, it's a nice cosy place which has also an outdoor terrace which I did not try as it was today a very hot day and indoors it was just a bit cooler. I ordered the Ramen and a Kirin Beer which is a Japanese local beer which... More

It's obvious to me that the sushi chef here is Japanese. The excellent cuts, presentation, and freshness is indicative of a well trained traditional chef who has perfected the art of sushi making. I was also very pleased with the fast and friendly service. Bravo Niko Niko Tei...job well done.

I went there several times already. The waitress is really friendly. The sushis are really good and the other Japanese specialities very good also like the ramen soup. The green tea ice cream is definitely recommended!

good food, slightly different experience eating Japanese food in Germany to UK but food was fresh and well cooked. Service was a bit slow but I'm not sure that wasn't because we complicated our order ordering a mix of set meal and other dishes on the side. friendly staff, ok atmosphere and surroundings.
