Nice brightish beer hall with a lot of open space. The staff is very friendly and walks around with a tray of beer and food often so you never go without.

Fabulous as always! Time seems to stand still at this place. The Köbes (waiters) are very special. Not to be compared with the "normal" waiter. Their humour is difficult to understand for people from outside the Rhine area. Just laugh, have a good time and...More

Visited the Zum Uerige many times during our five day visit. Mainly because we enjoyed it but it also has the perfect location. It is a must do on any tourist itinerary being a typical traditional German pub. Inside there are many areas and rooms...More
We visited to try the beer, and not their food. Their version of the city's beer, Altbier, is quite good. It is a spacious restaurant, and in summer there are tables on both sides of the street. Service is very efficient, but the staff expect...More
Great beer. Watched them go through a barrel of beer every 15 minutes with no slowing down. Food is ok. Pork schnitzel is not the best that I have had or the worst.. service is surely but that is the norm and to be expected....More
