This back street Italian restaurant is really good. We were some ten people all eating different dishes and all being very pleased. I would recommend the sole with a full body red wine from Sicily.

After living in Cologne and visiting Mederrano every time we visit the city, we can certainly recommend this restaurant. The service has always been excellent and the food is always tasty and of great quality, and also their wines. The building is very beautiful and the atmosphere is perfect for any kind of visitor: couples, families and groups. The staff... More

The salads are fresh and great, the seafood amazing. Order the "Gambas" (big prawns) cooked on the side in oil and garlic, then the spaghetti "aglio olio" which... More
Friendly waiters, some even spoke dutch. We ordered bruschetti, the calamari salad and tapa platter as starter. Bruschetti weren't good, they lacked flavour, bread wasn't toasted. The bill totaled 80 euros, not bad if compared to France and Italy, but more expensive than you'd... More
Worth a visit, not in an obvious location from the outside but is a must to eat in, Very nice atmosphere inside. Good service and the best steak we have ever eaten, standard chips very tasty trio of desserts. Highly recommend.
