Nice calm environment, best for families with children. Oh boy, the beer was awesome with reasonable price. Food is fresh and carefully prepared. Staff are nice and helpfull despite their so so English. I totally recommend this restaurant. You won't regret it!

The stuff is kind, and they speak a good English. There are many beers and food is pretty good on average. It's not close to the center, but easy to reach by tram. It's large and they serve food until late (not so common).

Just a brief tourist stop as part of our Konigsdam cruise (first time in Baltics for us & the ship). Terrific to sample the beers (& the pretzels) and to have the talk/walk through with the beer master. We are not beer drinkers, but its good to indulge in the local culture when touring.

But would highly recommend an independent visit if your travels permit. We met with the brewmaster and received a great overview of their process. We moved to a tasting, enjoying all of the product with a lunch of wurst, pretzel and sauerkraut. The whole experience was worth the visit and enjoyable.

Multiple choices of beer all abiding by old time tested Germany purity standard. Nice little tour by the brew Master.

Came here as part of a tour from Princess Cruises. Our family contemplated not getting back on the bus and just staying here. Great beers - we tended to like the Wildsau the best. The pretzel we had was fantastic as well. We wish we could have stayed longer, but we did buy several bottles to enjoy back on the... More

Great beers (best one is "Wildsau", former name was "Spezial") and very good traditional food. Good, fair (they told us we maybe have to wait for about 45 minutes for our dishes before we ordered - in the end it took 20 minutes) and quick service although it was almost completely full house.

Visited here as part of a tour from cruise ship. GIven talk about brewing process and then invited to taste different beers together with a huge pretzel to eat. At 9.30 in the morning beer was not appreciated as much as it would have been later in day but nevertheless it went down well with most people. Great place and... More

We did not eat here. It was a stop on an excursion from our cruise ship. They served us warm soft pretzels and their own beer that was delicious. We had a brief explanation of the beer making process. This is a microbrewery with small production. I wish we had had time to eat in the restaurant since we have... More

On our Viking Ocean cruise we were able to choose from two tours in Germany and we picked Rostock. Making the choice easy was the included brewery tour. We had a tour of the brewery then were treated to samples of their Pilsner and Dunkel beers and a soft pretzel. The staff was very friendly and we wished we could... More
