We had the seafood platter for two (60€) our first night in Hambourg and had to come back the second night again to make sure it was as good as our hungry minds remembered. And it was amazing! Thank you, wish we could come here more often.

The Vasco Da Gama is a Portuguese and Spanish Restaurant close to the International Hotel on the Alster. We had dinner here one night, Margaret had Wild Boar in a red wine sauce which was the best Margaret ever had. I had Squid in garlic and olive oil absolutely delicious. Great Food for Great Prices, beats the expensive food of... More

Was here for a lunch as we stayed nearby. The service was fine and we was welcomed and seated promptly. The food was good and honest with good quality products. It is not fine dining but a good family restaurant. "What you see is what you get" meant positive. Prices are moderate

Our group of colleagues always visit Vasco da Gama when we are in Hamburg on a business trip. They are always friendly and do not seem to be bothered by the fact that many times our group is of 9 or 10 work colleagues. Even though we have had to wait a little to get a table, there is no... More

An impromptu visit food was good and the service was great a bistro type affair with Portuguese slant. Would certainly visit again.

This is my go to restaurant whenever I am in Hamburg for business. It is walking distance from the Le Meridien hotel. The owners are always friendly and the food and wine is excellent. In the summer you can enjoy al fresco dining. All the dishes are consistently good but the seafood, particularly the paella is excellent. Make reservations as... More

The waiter was a little too eager to get us decide what to eat, but apart from that we had a very good experience at Vasco Da Gama. The bread and aioli was delicious, and both my octopus and my husbands rabbit were very well prepared. We will go there again next time we will visit Hamburg.
