The venue had a sleek and modern design, and the waiter was fluent in English, which made the dining experience pleasant. The quality of the meat was exceptional, and grilling it was a straightforward and quick process.

The food was not really delicious!! Meat and fish were fried on the same spot on the grill plate!
The sushi was of inferior quality similar to what you get in the supermarket.Food was almost all cold or lukewarm.A positive there is however the Coke Zero was deliciously nice cold and lemon was also in it !!
For this price totally exaggeratedly expensive .

We are often guests there as a family but also for business. I also travel worldwide a lot and buffet restaurants are a very good alternative, gearde also with children. The Copper House in Hamburg is the world's best buffet restaurant we enjoyed. The choice of food is sensational for this price, from very fresh fish selection such as tuna, salmon, stone putt etc, to all seafood and even whole Jacobs mussels. Of course also very good Argentine beef sprouts, chicken breast, lamb etc. Very wide selection of vegetables and especially mushroom varieties. This is then prepared in front of your eyes at one or more teppanyaki grills. But there are also about 10 other pre-prepared fish prepared standard dishes, a lot of starters and of course very good fresh sushi. In fact, I always wonder about the reasonable price for this very high-quality food. In a normal restaurant, the main course alone would make up the buffet price. But here you still have the rich appetizers, sushi and if you are very hungry or like to eat long and extensively together still multiple main courses incl.
The location is super modern and quality interior (Copper House) next to the Riverside Hotel with the Skybar. The restaurant also has a wonderful location right on Hamburg's neighbourhood and can be visited hungry after a eg Schmidt Tivoli visit or a musical visit or harbour tour. We always take parking at the Riverside Hotel in the underground car park. For us as a large family, Copper House and Yu Garden are the best restaurants in town.

All of the food from the buffet was only lukewarm or already cold. The taste was not particularly seasoned or remarkable. Sushi was delicious and was constantly refilled. The hot food from the buffet was not refilled, even though it was only 7:30 p.m. Soup and hot sauces were completely covered in skin and lukewarm... Fruit for dessert was cut poorly, i.e. the pineapple had a lot of brown spots and the kiwis still had bits of their furry skin in a lot of places. All in all, a place that we will definitely not visit again.

Sorry, as some have already written, the buffet is completely overpriced for the quality and selection; even 7.50 for 0.75 L of water is above the limit; the food in our self-service area was only lukewarm and unfortunately the cook at the cooking station was too impatient, so a lot of the food remained rather "English".
Seems to be popular at company parties, where price apparently doesn't play a role. I can get a large, good, honest steak in Hamburg for just under 40€.

Too loud, too uncomfortable, products from the buffet only mediocre.

We should have read the reviews beforehand. Canteen buffet with ready-made fried foods, supermarket-quality sushi and the dessert offerings were canned lychees, sliced fruit and jelly. Even the ingredients for the teppanyaki grill don't make up for that.

Yes we did not use the live cooking which I guess is what you pay for here, but the line was so long and we were hungry so after average starters: boring sushi (mostly rice), good gyozas and bad candied chicken (they had a bitter burned taste), we tried the the rest of the buffet.
Again some mixed dishes. They had a large selection of dessert with the crème brûlée as the winner but again mediocre.
It was overall ok if it had been standard china buffet price but as we paid premium for potential live cooking it was slightly disappointing.
Service was ok they were polite and service minded.

We ate a la carte because we were unfortunately too early for the buffet. The duck and curry chicken were very tasty, but the sushi was rather boring and unimpressive. The location is very stylish and centrally located. Next time, however, I would go later and try the buffet.

We ate from the menu here early in the evening. Both the starter and the main course were very tasty and more than enough (we couldn't finish it).
Most people come here for the buffet, but the dishes on the menu are absolutely worth it.
The service was smooth and friendly, the price is reasonable.

We went in from the street, and was met by a very nice waiter showing us the place before deciding to dine here.
The buffet was delicious with a wide range of dishes, already cooked, mix to get fried, sushi and desserts.
All the fish and meat was fresh and high quality. The waiters was nice and good to recommend wine.
We will definitely visit again when in Hamburg.

Came across this restaurant and was not disappointed! Would highly recommend , nice atmosphere and thoroughly enjoyed the food. Reasonably priced .would definitely return if I was back in Hamburg.

...since it is better than average but not ¨very¨ good. TripAdvisor would be well advised to implement this change. Anyway, one has a lot to chose from in this restaurant, starting with hot-and-sour soup, seaweed salad, edamame, sushi, sashimi, cooked meals and also raw meats and seafood that will be cooked right before your eyes. Also a decent selection of wines and beers, and more european-style desserts.
