The place was recommended to us by locals. Modern feel, comfortable tables, reasonably priced, modernized traditional german cuisine. Tucked away in the schnoor touristic area. Worth the detour. I had pork palette, which was very tasty. the chocolate dessert was very good too.

A true experience. We weren't expecting too much from dining in Bremen and the food at this restaurant astonished us. While not all dishes were remarkable, outstanding were the goose, the venison and black salsify soup. The house red wine was also excellent. The way the main courses were cooked and the quality of the ingredients were such as to... More

In my experience service in Germany can be more confrontational than helpful. The food we got was very tasty when it finally arrived but I still cannot understand why a clearly aspirational, albeit half full restaurant takes twenty minutes even to take a drinks order.

We went to this restaurant as it had some good reviews and we weren't disappointed. We chose a three course set menu for two with an aperativo. The highlight of the meal was the starter. Creme brulee with white asparagus, it sounds weird and it shouldn't work but it did! Served with smoked salmon and strawberries, it was absolutely gorgeous,... More

We went there as a family of 5. We had difficulties to choose as the carte was too long: 2 different menus at 39,90€, the Carte with at least 30 choices and 7 daily specials. We finally opted for the daily specials: asparagus for the 5 of us, 2 sorts of fish and veal. the course of asparagus was awful:... More

We arrived with high hopes for this place, having read various reviews, but were very disappointed by the slow service. Our table was booked for 7pm. They brought olives and bread after about 20 mins, then very quickly after that an amuse bouche. The starters arrived relatively quickly but the real issue was having to wait 50 minutes (with no... We were a group of 7 people, all with high standards of food and wine and we were not disappointed. Schroter "s met everyone's expectations, both food and wine list was top class. Schroter" s is not Bremen's cheapest restaurant but well worth a visit if you appreciate fine food. I myself ate duck and it was a taste beyond... More

Great experience. We were a party of eight and they gave us a private room. It was also the wine room. I had snitzel & it was absolutely delicious. Accompanied by a warm potatoe dish served over lettuce that was amazing. The Germans love their potatoes & know how to make the most of them.

We wanted to visit the Schnoor for diner and this restaurant was recommended. Lovely food, lovely setting and very attentive waiting staff. We did have a few problems with translating the menu with our waiting but it was a minor gripe. The food and service more than made up for this. Would recommend this for a relaxed evening meal.
