small and cosy - sure you rub shoulders with your neighbour but you either make new friends the easy way or you don't listen because you have your own problems......a wonderful little place with great food, great Service and moderate prices considering what you get for it. I've been eating thje Tagliatelle with truffles every time and only changed the... More

We had the pleasure of dining for lunch at Grashoff's. They prepared a plate of delicious sandwiches for my husband and I. We weren't sure what to order since the menu was in German. The lovely lady invited me to sample the salads in the case and tell her the best I could what we liked. I gave up trying... More

We came to this charming place by chance on a Friday night only to be told we could not have a table as a big private party had taken the Bistro for the evening. However, as all of this was so charmingly explained we decided to make a reservation for lunch today- the only seats available for our preferred time... More

My wife and I had lunch here in December 2013 and found the food and service to be excellent. It is quite expensive but I would consider it to be value for money. It can get pretty busy and there isn't a lot of room, even between diners, and I was also a little disappointed with the two wines that... More

This is trully exceptional place-you would not actually even guess that the meals could be so good here . It is the store with delicateses, you can buy cheese, pate, sauces, oils, wine....there . They have just very few tables there, so it does not look like in the real restaurant. Menu is quite short but everything we had was... More

We were five people visiting this restaurant in August 2013, and we were all delighted with the food we ate. The menu is quite small, which probably allows the chefs to focus on planning and preparing them to perfection. The desserts were also delicious. The staff were very polite and attentive. I highly recommend visiting this restaurant if you have... More

Incredible, that this restaurant - bistro, cafe, whatever you call it! just let me come back over and over - has been established 1872, if I remember it correctly. It feels so fresh in one's mouth and soul after visiting it. They've managed to make a whole symphony out of common Nisuase salad: the way cherry-tomatos, sweet paprika, boiled eggs,... More

Sitting outside offers a nice park view and quite some people passing by without it getting too busy. Service is friendly and they have no trouble switching to English. Mind that there is only a German menu available. The menu is not very adventurous, but the different plates are made perfectly, with nothing but fresh ingredients. Good wine menu to... More

This is proably the best place to eat in Bremen, but it is not easy to get a table and you have to book in advance. I believe this restaurant used to have a Michelin Star, and when you eat here you can see why. Food is locally sourced and perfectly cooked and presented. Wine selection is excellent. I had... More
