Does what it says on the tin. Fine dining it ain't but if you want to sample a German beer garden this ticks all those boxes. The restaurant opposite the bar area provides better dining with a friendly group of staff, of a mid range...More

This is another place I always come to visit at least once when I stopped by in Berlin (Though it may not open most of the time in cold winter months). I think they have good beer, joyful atmosphere. Food is all right (and mostly...More

I'll keep this as short as I can but my experience tonight was a little rubbish - the outside area was great. A lovely relaxed setting for all types (families, couples, young and old) with a great selection of food and drinks. The big issue...More

This Biergarten is oldest in Berlin. It is in a nice, large garden. Also nice to bring children. You can have snacks here.

I could hang out here - in this old spacious swimmingpool area - all day. When the sun is out, make sure you have a table, order some beers or wines and chill out.

We ate inside because it was rainy. The place is quite noisy but the waiter found a quite table for us, even if we;he had not booked. Food and beer were very good and quite cheap. Klopse were super!

Went one afternoon and then the next evening. The afternoon was fewer people but still good ambience in the nice weather, and the evening was packed with people and a must-see. The lamb/merguez bratwurst was very good and reasonably priced, along with the beer. Dinner...More

Prenzlauer Berg
No Berlin neighbourhood has undergone a greater change
than Prenzlauer Berg. The artists and non-conformists
that defined the district’s intriguing subculture in
the 1980s and 90s have been replaced by a young, hip
crowd that frequents the many cafes. Where there were
once run-down houses in the shadow of the Berlin Wall,
there are now designer shops. Beautiful old homes have
been modernized and renovated, and on Sundays,
