A cozy, green, exotic and romantic cambodian adventure in the heart of Berlin. Great menu, kind staff and a marvellous atmosphere will take you in Asia for dinner. Great value for money.

Quiet restaurant with indoor plants and very tasteful Cambodian art and sculpture. The food was very good. We had broccoli and cashews and another dish, tofu curry, both excellent. The spring rolls were very good too.

I stayed at the Motel one next door and didn't want to go too far for a meal. The food was okay but nothing special. Asian food is often more tasty than the curry I had. The vegetables were slightly overcooked. The beer is okay.

Our effort of waking up in the wee hour, mind you at 4 a.m. had not gone to waste. In fact, the effort paid dividend. We were able to reap the rewards of waking up early when we were able to witness the magnificent and spectacular sunrise that followed. There was already a huge crowd when we arrived at the... More

After a ten hour flight from Sri Lanka via Doha we were extremely tired and in need of something to eat! We chose this place as it was just down the street from our hotel. Although tired, we really enjoyed the food and the restaurant was quite busy for a rainy Wednesday night. Very nice soup and beef dish.

As vegan person is not easy to find places around that can give great food and satisfaction, but Anchor Wat has safe my life. Good quality food and big portions, with options for vegan people. I felt welcome and I had great service. Highly recommended

Visited this place with colleagues, as it was very close to our hotel. Very friendly staff, good service, and the food was lovely. The decor is a little tired and could use a refresh, and it wasn't busy at all but probably does quite good business from the hotel on the corner (where we stayed). We were a group of... More

We wanted to try Cambodian food and have followed blindly the reviews to this place. At first, the atmosphere in the place makes the client feeling at ease immediately. It's cozy and quiet. But when it goes to the food it becomes complicated, the quality of the food is average and for many main dishes the waitress was telling us... More

My travel book recommended this restaurant. We sat outside because the early evening was so hot and humid. We had menu 5 shared, three course meal for 2, as recommended by our travel writer and it was delicious. It began with an aperitif drink and prawn crackers, followed two types of spring rolls filled with fresh ingredients and four dips.... More

Staying in Moabit

Neighbourhood Profile
You may not realize Moabit is one of the city’s most central neighbourhoods when you arrive at Hauptbahnhof (central station). Surrounded by waterways, Moabit is a quiet island protected from the hustle and bustle of Berlin. The crowds that do gather prefer spending their evenings in cozy restaurants over the party venues offered by other districts. With its beautiful parks, old housing and romantic industrial areas, life has traditionally been relaxed and a bit slower here. But the tone may soon be changing. Reasonable housing costs and proximity to city centre are attracting more young Berliners and international visitors. This interest is encouraging new bars, cafés and nightclubs, making Moabit a candidate for most up-and-coming neighbourhood in the city.
