Good Morning Vietnam proved a very nice dinning experience. The spring rolls were tasty and our group had two duck dishes that were excellent! We didn't fare as well with a pork dish but overall, I would go back.

Stumbled across this restaurant when randomly picking a stop on the u-Bahn to explore different areas. Got there at 9pm, was completely rammed full, managed to get two seats at a sharer table and so glad we did. Food was delicious, the best Asian/Vietnamese food I have had to date, really good prices, the beer was great as was the... More

The food was good however they would not give any water without purchasing another drink first. I paid for a coke (which I don't even like) and then they never even gave me the water my friend just didn't have a drink for her entire meal. Then they even tried to over charge us.

Tasty, good vibes, very nice place. Took the 15 dish. Very delicate taste. The chiken was great. Will recommend you to go there at least one time on your visit in berlin.

We went here one night given it had great reviews and was right by the station. We were so glad we did! The place wasn't clearly labeled and looked a little questionable in the dark of winter but once we walked in we instantly had a good feeling about dinner. The interior is warm and welcoming. Our meal and drinks... More

The food was tasty fresh and fast. The restaurant was busy with a good vibe and rapid turnover of customers all of which seemed happy.

Awful experience at this restaurant. Went with my friend who has a sever nut allergy we ordered crispy duck and chicken and shared it. We asked the waiter if they contain nuts and he said they were both fine. 2 minutes into eating my friend fell unwell and was having a reaction. She managed to keep it under control and... More

Loved their version of wantan soup with cilantro and fish sauce, great for the Berin winter. Also had the crispy duch with peanut sauce over vegetables, which was delicious. My wife had a sweet and sour chickem whicj she loved, and my son has shrimp noodles, same result. Service was very prompt, and the place is small enough to be... More

This was one of the best meals my husband and I had on our honeymoon (we went to this restaurant twice while in Berlin). It was very cheap and the food was absolutely delicious. Thank you Good Morning Vietnam!

Staying in Mitte

Neighbourhood Profile
Mitte
The centre of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighbourhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
