I booked a table on Christmas for the two of us. We arrived at 7pm, got our menu and ordered 2 glasses of prosecco + our food. After that the waiters ignored us the whole time. Our table was clearly empty the whole time, no drinks / food. They ignored my signs... People who came in 30min later where served... More

I booked a table for 2, for myself (vegetarian) and a vegetarian friend, and we really enjoyed our meal here. Situated in a quiet area of the city, just off a park, we enjoyed sitting outside and having lots of cheese fondue! The vegetables and bread were very fresh, and the cheese was delicious. Each person got their own fondue... More

We ate here on our third and final night in Berlin. Not speaking much German at all, the waiter was extremely helpful and talked us through the entire menu. He made it feel like we weren't being a hassle asking questions, which I really appreciate! Wonderful food, drinks and service! If ever I am in Berlin again, I will visit... More

My girlfriend and I were new to fondue and really wanted to try it as we both love cheese. We went to the entrance of the restaurant and the waiter actually came outside and helped us. We asked for vegetarian options and he walked us through them, explained how fondue was made (it starts with the wine not the cheese)... More

Worth experiencing a fondu meal. The food provided is enough and even if you are a big group.this is typical of food that gives you the chance to rest and enjoy the food/experince. Apart from the food, should experience the fondu choccolate too.

We live in Berlin and chose Feuer & Flamme at Comeniusplatz for a change to celebrate a birthday. We were quite amazed by the size of the menu when it comes to the selection of different fondues! We were four people and shared 2 startes as we wanted to stay hungry for the fondue where we should have ordered a... More

As tourists in Berlin, not being able to speak the language (fopaux on our behalf), we were made to feel very comfortable very quickly. The staff were lovely and very attentive throughout. The menu was a bit baffling but we tried our luck and ordered a meat fondue. A fondue pot full of broth was presented to us, with a... More

We booked the restaurant online 24 hours beforehand with no problems. We arrived early and had no problems being seated before our time, though the restaurant was full the whole time we were there. Lovely restaurant with super comfortable chairs. I spent the evening slowly sinking lower and lower as I entered a lovely state of cheese coma. We ordered... More

Staying in Friedrichshain

Neighbourhood Profile
When you arrive at Warschauer Strasse in the heart of the district, you have found one of Berlin’s party hotspots. At night in Friedrichshain, the energy is palpable and the streets of this old worker's quarter are full of street musicians. On one hand, you may find a bar with international crowds, electronic music, long lines and panoramic views - on the other, an outside venue by old train yards featuring decrepit buildings and live alternative music. No matter your taste, the best way to end a night out in Friedrichshain is sitting by the Spree River at the East side gallery, the longest and best preserved piece of the Berlin Wall, watching the sun rise over the beautiful Oberbaum Bridge.
